The market is really looking nice. They have organized different departments. The fish and meats should be next to the vegetable area. The lady that fell into the drain is lucky that she didn't get a more severe injury. Overall the market is better 100% than what they had before. Lets hope that the vendors and the district council take equal responsibility to keep it clean and let it be a place that will be encouraging and enjoyable to visit. Adequate drainage around the market, security, big enough bins designated for recyclable, compost, and garbage. If you set the right mesures both materially and systematically, things will automatically fall into its rightful perspective. In Canada, here there are 3 color bins. Green bins for compost, which are used to make enriched soil, blue bins for recyclable plastic, and cardboard, are recycled to make new materials and black bins for garbage that go to the landfill.

The place is looking very nice. It's really good that the people will be out of the sun and rain and into an enclosed area. Most of them are appreciative. The stalls are quite small. I hope that they can address that issue with those people who have raised concerns about it and rectify the issues.. I totally agree that they should put a system in place regarding the cleanliness of the place. Summon, those who do not follow the rules and even suspension. Just make sure that the garbage collection system is in place and it's doing its part by removing the trash in a timely manner. I wish everyone there well and I hope that they cooperate with each other and with the government of Guyana 🇬🇾. ❤👍🏽👍🏽💪💪🙏🙏💯💯🇬🇾🇬🇾
