Innovation in Music Awards opening
I was asked to create the opening for the first Innovation in Music Awards show. The IMA seeks to recognize music industry professionals and companies who are obviously innovating - distinguishing themselves in music creation, music discovery, and innovative strategy in music marketing.
I found the stock music and much of the imagery and animated the backgrounds and text to prepare the award show crowd for what they were about to experience. The producer wanted something different from the usual awards show intros to highlight the theme of innovation.

In 2000 I shot and edited this video about a medical mission in the remote Serengeti district of Tanzania where quality medical care is a challenge. Operation Starfish was the name chosen for this medical mission funded by the Iasis Healthcare Foundation. A group of doctors and nurses from Tempe, Arizona spent over a week traveling to village clinics and a regional hospital near the Safari camp...
Titans Stadium Construction timelapse
Просмотров 129 тыс.9 лет назад
For the time-lapse showing the construction of the Tennessee Titans stadium (1997-1999) the Electric Picture Company crew decided to shoot with 16mm film and an intervalometer powered by a car battery. They built a weatherproof box for the shots inside the stadium to house the system components. One of the main drawbacks of a film system is that it meant periodically the exposed film had to be ...
Nashville Public Library timelapse

With the two previous time-lapses (the Predators arena and the Titans stadium) Electric Picture Company had used 16mm film and an intervalometer. One of the frustrating things about that system was that there was no way of knowing if something was blocking the lens, the film had run out, etc. For the Nashville Public Library time-lapse (1999-2001) we devised a system that used a video camera an...

This video was created in 2009 for Kodak Dental Systems (now called Carestream), a company that creates hardware and software solutions for dental offices. They needed a video showcasing some of the features and benefits of a new product for taking 3D digital x-rays of a patient's head and teeth. Since the product is bolted to the floor and wall in dental offices it was decided that a 3D model ...

This animation was created for Cook Medical to showcase the treatment options and global reach of their Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm stent-graft product line. Produced in the early 2000s it was one of our first projects finished in HD. The globe was created in 3DS Max and the compositing was done in After Effects. A custom score was created whose instrumentation changes based upon what part of the...
Prepared to Survive - Intro

In 2003/2004 I wrote and produced this video series covering basic outdoor survival skills for people who adventure in the outdoors. We traveled to Wyoming, Utah, Washington, and the Smoky Mountains National Park to interview experts and shoot supporting b-roll. We chose our host, Gretchen Cordy, because she was a military survival instructor in addition to being a contestant on the first seaso...
And now they apparently need a new stadium the bills current stadium actually did what stadium are supposed to do and that’s the last 40 to 50 years before they need to get replaced when the bills current Highmark stadium closes after the 25/26 season it’ll be 53 years old when the Titans current stadium closes it’s only gonna be 28 years old
Is there anyway to get a copy of the video?
Can't believe it's already getting replaced. Weird that stadiums built in the internet era with timelapse footage like this, which seems so modern still, are already aging out
Another Titans are gonna get a new stadium so
I’m not a fan of NFL teams always wanting new stadiums when some colleges that have way more fans have stadiums over 100 years old that still do just fine. Also what o don’t understand is Nissan Stadium hold right at 70,000 and the new 2.2 billion dollar stadium will only seat 60,000. To my knowledge the Titans have sold out every home game since they move to Tennessee and now they’re telling 10,000 sorry about your luck to home and watch.
My dad was an electrical engineer during this build... now I'm a fabrication engineer on the new stadium 😁
That's awesome! Gonna be a sad day when they destroy the old one. 😞
Pode dizer assim eu uso poderes do mundo para fazer os estádios principalmente no Brasil
Tenha minha inteligência ultra pra construir os estádios amém na bíblia
The Oilers have come a long way
It needs a renovation now or a new stadium.
2.1 billion dollar dome just got approved

Every new football venue must have a roof -dummys
I don't know if the uploader intended this, but the video and music are perfectly synched from 0:45 to 1:01
Whats crazy is how the area around the stadium looks now in the 2020s compared to the late 90s
The old downtown mall
I just wish the stadium faced the river instead of being parallel
Maybe it's less windy ..
Matrix.
I wonder if Bud Adams got a chance to graze on his football field before he passed away here in Houston?
Still salty?
Astrodome was better than that dump!
As a football fan I agree because the astrodome had a roof so it doesn’t irritate the people inside the stadium in Houston also it’s a landmark and also saved people from hurricane Katrina in 2005
Salty Houstoner
Looks like the Titans will need a new stadium w/retractable roof in the future. Not only it will be a great benefit for Titans but Nashville area, also.
and be able to host a superbowl
@@mrtmfarr Not only super bowl but national title game for football and final four
Coming soon 🫡
Yah, nobody wants to be outdoors anymore!
@@davidjaerobins4180 it will be built in 2027
That's crazy about the Tornado hitting the stadium. Had no idea it did that back then... wow
Jvna im with you
Belessimo estádio, um time tão lindo merece

ok
Just an averages design
Average? It's ugly as hell... neo greek/italian massive concrete block. My goodness
Always love football stadium construction.
Such is the limitations in vision of the people that designed and built this concrete monstrosity! I'm no Green Enviro-warrior, but! the senseless wasting of 1,000's of squares meters of the roof space which could have been used as a living roof, with lawns, trees, solar-panels and rain-water catchment to offset the carbon footprint this took to destroy and rebuild.
Titanup this is incredible
If Adams hadn't been such a butthole Houston would have built him a new stadium. But he had to be a butthole
WOW!! I MOVED HERE BOUT 4 YEARS AFTER THE NEW LIBRARY OPENED. ONCE UPON A TIME I REMEMBER I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO GET TO THIS PLACE. LOL
Now, they need to do that with the Titans.
2019
Looks like my high school football stadium.
Yeah man. I'm sure you're high school stadium sits almost 70,000 and has luxury sky boxes
That was probably pretty convenient they could unload everything off ships and barges

Cracuh Chap what game was it
Looks way much better now after the renovation with the seats, stores, concession stands, etc.
sniff....I love this team like Tanya Tucker loves landscaping.
It's a good stadium to go to watch a football game in
jasonstamper1 I'm a die hard cowboys fan here in Tennessee. but still gotta rep the titans.
Especially when the Texans come in and put a whopping on em.
@@akahaney1 this comment did not age well
What an ugly stadium
because it was in the 90s
KillerClashers go hate someone older, this stadium is only 18 years old. Go hate that 50 year old piece of garbage in Oakland.
