Who makes that Tcase?
It’s an NP205 out of a 70s ford! I have some videos of me swapping it a few months back on my channel!
@@electricsmith1650 Awesome! Thanks Brother
I am so interested. I am currently doing this to my 1984 351W Bronco. Let's get Part 3!!!! I loved the exhaust tube delete idea on the back of the heads. I would have had to chase that exhaust leak then figure out what to do about it!
I appreciate the interest! Hopefully I can start it in part 3 I really want to. I need to find a distributor solution ASAP!
You should be able to pull the shaft out of the stock one and put it in the holly as long as it's not build different for the holly
I might have to try that if I don't hear from Holley!
Looking sweet!
Thank you!
Not sure but I know you can change the gear on the end. your longer one might work if you can swap them maybe Pretty sure a roll pin holds it all in place.
I was thinking about doing this too. My only concern is messing up timing on it. Still new to the V8 world. Not sure if that’s something I can confidently tare into.
Can’t wait to hear it run man !! I’m Totally going to this to my bullnose .
Thanks man I’m so excited! Hopefully it works like it should!
Okay you might be my new best friend just bought a 91 F250 that is going to be my everyday driver and looked all over the internet for this exact video keep it up can't wait to see more
Thanks man! I really hope it’s going to work out!!
Dont have the same efi system on my 90 but glad i did the efi conversion. Just part throttle is better
I’m hoping I see some good results! Late 80s early 90s EFI was revolutionary but it was a prototype and lots of bugs that the customers got to deal with!
I'm really excited to see this, I've been debating on doing it to mine
Same here.
Glad you’re excited! Installing the AN lines this weekend and I will be discussing some points about this swap that get overlooked. Video comes out Monday at 4:30pm MST, make sure you’re subscribed so you don’t miss it!
Commenting because i wasnt here in person
I appreciate the view! AN line install this weekend 😤
It's going to run so different your going to love it
I’m hoping that’s the case! Super excited
Awesome! I hope that works out well for you!
I hope so too! The last thing on the truck I haven’t touched!
Sounds like you miss timed it and bent all of the valves
Yeah it did sound like my valves got crushed when it cranked slow. I still don’t know how that happened. I’ll poke a borescope down there in the near future

I love your videos!keep on going to strive for excellence
Thank you!!
Man turns out #1.8TNevaLoose was a big fat lie
Unfortunately so!
I cut the ones with the resistor but i dont have them yet. Can i just leave then cut?
I’d make sure you cap the copper so you don’t short anything out. But yeah it will just still have a light on! I also recommend moving the resistors outside of the box because they do get hot and can melt the plastic. We had to do that on my buddies car!
Famous last words
Every time
Damn a tooth off made a mesh sound 😂
😂😂 it wasn’t cause of the tooth off. Just had to make the meme 😂
That does not sound good!
No good!
Sounds like something with the chain/belt rubbing. Think you can fix it. GL
I’ll be tinkering with it soon. Thanks man!
Welcome to Audi pain. I'm watching you struggle while avoiding my S4 in the garage 😂. That noise sounds like a tensioner or idler
What’s wild is this is like the 5th or 6th 1.8T engine I’ve swapped and I’ve never experienced this before! 😂 I’ve been trying to tinker with it where I can. The cam chain tensioner is good. It might by some stuck lifters.
@@electricsmith1650 I rebuilt the engine in my S4 and have to take it out again. It runs great but there is a bolt that backed out of one of the cam chain idlers.
Must be a B5 thing then 😂 most of my 1.8T swap experience is in MK4s
Man that's a bummer! hopefully you get it figured out and its an easy fix!
I hope so too!
If you’re here for the title, literally skip 2/3 of the video
The life of weekly content. Gotta show off what’s going on!
Went to change my coolant in my obs and found a bunch of sludge too. Hopping mine is just the oil cooler but this job seems like a pain. This weekend will be fun
It wasn’t fun that’s for sure! Hopefully it goes well for you!
Nice!! I’m going to need a step by step video on the Holley efi bro😂 fixing to swap my 300 for a 351 . 👀
I’ll do the best I can to make it a step by step without it being a full on how to!
I did a complete steering system makeover on my Bricknose Bronco (1) Saginaw pump from an E van from the JY (2) Borgeson Steering Shaft to replace the rag joint factory style and (3) a Blue Top gear gearbox. I got rid of all my leaks, I have no power steering wine and no sloppy steering. You might consider doing a 3g swap on your alternator if you haven't done it. If you can not find your high idle issue after testing your sensors and smoking your vacuum system you might look at your ECM. The ECM has 3 capacitors that will leak in time. You have a beautiful truck
Appreciate the input man! I’ll look into the steering shaft and the gear box. I’ve never heard of a blue top before, I was going to get a red head, what’s the difference? I found an alternate solution to my high idle issue, go check out my latest video!
I believe blue top and red head or top no disrespect meant are actually brothers who own each company. I'm not sure, but when I was researching each company, i believed their was a feud between them. I read a bunch of employees left red hat and went to blue top. I do not know for sure, but that's why I went with a blue top. I saw a couple of videos on yt stating red head used to be the cats meow. However, in the latter years, quality has gone down. I could not afford a PSC box, so at the time, i just made a decision and went with a blue top. I am happy so far. I have no personal experience with red head and i am no way dogging them they may be a good company. I am just telling you why i went with blue top. I replaced mine about a year ago. You have to take everyone's opinion with a grain of salt, even mine. On Yt Jimmy from 1Road had a video where he replaced his steering box from red head and it was not machined correctly and it leaked. They did correct it, which he did another video on. I only have experience with blue top and not the other one.
Good to know! Thanks man!
Super excited about your new EFI!
Thanks man! I’m so excited to install it!
This is my Holley EFI kit, this is my problem solver right here
I sure hope it is!
Someone tell Cole to wipe the milk off his face before the next breakfast check 😂
SORRY 😂😂
The distributor is not going to work with the 302. The end of the distributor where it goes on to the oil pump shaft size is 5/16 on the 302 and on the 351 distributor is 3/8 it will fit in but the oil pump will not turn. Dont want to see the motor get wiped out.
Also the later efi 302s distributors had a long shaft make sure its the same length as the new one
Appreciate the input! My bronco has a 351 in it so I should be okay. I’ll be sure to double check the shaft size before I install it though!
Nice come up on the Holley kit! Can’t wait to see it in the Bronco!
It’s gonna be sweet!
the resistors get rid of the transmission codes that pop up? ive had my 01 lexus manual swapped with a emulator but cant get the check engine light off
Yes the resistors get rid of the check engine light. That’s their only purpose. After I installed them I realized they got too hot inside that box so make sure you mount them outside of the box!
@@electricsmith1650 thank you finally got the resistors put in and check engine light fixed :)! now time for the real test CA smog
Bro you deserve more love! Keep up the great content!

It was a great time!!
On the smaller echasut housing , i hear its better for the auto. Why do you say its not? I need to know
I have a buddy with an auto truck and he went with the smaller one and said he doesn’t like it. Personally I think it’s better for manual cause of the gearing and slower shifting. It helped me get back up in rpms really quickly.
@electricsmith1650 ok ok so I forgot about what kc turbos said about the exhaust housing before. Sorry. If you pull light and daily the truck in an auto they recommend the .84 . If you pull heavy then you want the 1.0. I hope I got that right. Also makes no sense to me tho. I have the .84 banks housing , baby swamps , no intercooler. I get hot.
Does this make you want to buy a Toyota now?
No 😂😂 I do not like Toyota’s but I will always help work on my friend’s cars!
Just some real dudes working on their rigs. Bad ass
That’s what it’s all about! Thanks man!

I got some big projects coming up for the truck soon! Just gotta get the money aligned right cause everything I need done on this truck now is not cheap 😂 Appreciate the input though!

Fixed my steering with a red top and got ready of the rag joint went too a universal joint off eBay really cheap, red top not somuch
A red head gear box is definitely on the list for me! Never heard of the rag joint but I’ll definitely look into that!
Glad u got the power steering working well! Bummer the brake clean truck didn't work. Oh well at least it was worth a shot 😂. Keep up the great content! Hope u taking it wheeling soon!

LOL! Hopefully soon!
brown shorts moment pulling that thing in
Misinformation these seats do not in fact bolt right up you had to drill holes
They bolted up after I drilled holes😉
That throttle body you installed had a hole in the throttle blade
I did not notice that! I’ll have to look at that again, thanks!
Does this make it faster
