Wide grip is harder as some of your force is pulling into your body rather than pulling you straight up.
It also significantly decreases the length of movement. By a foot.

Having owned a forsheda a4, the civilian variant of the mask you have which is the exact same minus the drink tube, I wouldn’t say that this mask is the absolute best, especially compared to Avons 50 series. Ngl tho the forsheda is still a great mask that performs its basic functions well, I’d rank it slightly above masks such as the M40, but I just find the rubber to be too rigid. Also, your blacking plug/secondary blanking plug is installed backwards. There should be two raised edges visible when the blanking plug is installed correctly to aid in removal and installation.
