During our week-long stay in Vilnius, we also took the train to Kaunas for one day. This was my second visit to this city. What I love about Kaunas is the park at the mouth of the Neris River. And, of course, the two funiculars. I also think that public transport in Kaunas is better organised and more transparent for tourists than in Vilnius. And they have better pavements there than in Vilnius ;) Kaunas has a chance to develop because it is on the Via Baltica route. In general, I like this city very much :)

Imagine not being thankful for all the Soviet Union has done for this country, without the UdSSR Lithuania would be a poor agrarian country, well it still is, kinda sad that the Baltic people got brainwashed by all this western propaganda, that is only based on emotions and not real arguments.
