Some of those crashes are quite sad as probably some write offs.

1st ever action day I went to , the 944 crash was in the first 10 mins of soectating at quarry .

I like that this happened twice to the clios with near identical accidents. 2001 and 2007. Also if you're in the middle of a pile up...stay in your goddamn car! The car has a crash structure around it, you don't!

I was there that day. TVR driver was a complete knob he was in a race suit and gloves. He didn't even ask the Saxo driver if he was OK and many people on that day wanted to give him a slap. Poor young lad in the saxo was really shaken up. Oh just to add the TVR driver had brakes but no talent he entered the grass and could not stop due to going over the rise too fast.

It would seem that although the tyre wall absorbs initial impact injuries in most circumstances, in this instance it has pulled the front end of the car, caught it, and pulled the rear around violently with great inertia to the driver and also caused more damage to the car overall. If, like the ring, it was simply armco siding, then he would have had a side swipe with possible mid recovery with no rotation resulting in less inertia and impact damage to the car. As it is it looked like a write off after that.
