He has cancels issue is they should be free and EX tele should extend combos

@@davidepanceri8192 The cutscenes dont. Like the fatal blows, the character select screens, the pre-fight dialogues, etc... There is an experimental 60fps mode for PC only which makes those run in 60fps.

It’s PC only and doesn’t impact the gameplay smoothness at all. IMO it makes it better

@@MacDibs well it's a bit of a niche thought process for a scorpion player but avirk seems to be a fan of it. Scorpion is built for strike throw (basically making the other person guess between him doing a mid or a throw or a poke). So what avirk does is, he goes for a knock down, which sets up a strike throw. And because he's using Janet, he can do a throw combo off of that throw if he succeeds. To do that, whoever, he needs to condition the other person. Furthermore, another strat he uses is to go from a knockdown to a hard guess of ducking (this is based on the assumption that the other player will mash upon wakeup). I think, however, the primary reason avirk players like this is because scorpion doesn't really have good opening moves aside from the new buffed B3 (which is risky though because if you do B3, cancel, enhanced tele and then go for 21 spear; you don't have a lot of time in between the inputs so you have to be very sure of the connection of the first hit of B3). So avirks main method of dealing damage is to do B3 into either pole after tele or do 21 depending on the opponent AND strike throw after a combo. This way he saves bars for when he needs them. This is highly unlike what Javier does for example, who spends 2 or 1 bar each combo but then plays it extremely tactical (which is why so many people call him boring). This is what I got from watching avirk, sorry for the essay lol. Hope it helps

@@MacDibs and by "bars for when he needs them", I am referring to how he was using armour so much to nullify the mix from the ferra kameo that sonic was using. He saved bars and basically saved himself from a situation which would make him lose 40 percent health. Normally, using the bars like that would be a waste (kind of) but again, Janet can help scorp combo off his armour as well. So think of it like avirk can do loads of 28~31 combos but he has more access to them rather than just one big 50 bomb that is hard to start off or connect.

@@abdullahharoon253 I appreciate the essay. Thank you for the strategic analysis. I did see him using the armored dash to counter the ferra and that made a lot of sense. I always thought scorpion was cool but like you said he doesn't seem to have great openers. I guess that's where good footsies comes into play. Like mileena and lie mei seems to have a ton of openers. I haven't played in a while but this is the first mk game that I really got into since I was a kid. Learned a lot but some of these God tier and up players really trip me up with how they play. I had been playing with Liu Kang/lao cameo the most cause he is simple, and the throw combo was easy to do, but he also doesn't have any real tricky things to open with. I don't like his over head as it requires a high first and you can easily get d1 by opponent, as it is so slow and identifiable. Been messing with kung lao and wanting to get better with the ninjas. I've been waiting on tekada so I'm excited to get a chance with him.
