While I believe priest (disc or holy) will still be op with the current version of prayer of mending in lvl 40 with greater heal available, every other healer get alot more good talents while priests are slightly lackluster down either talent tree. Shamans get chain heal as well. I think all healers will be fairly viable at 40

@@ClassicPlusTV I'm a hunter and I heard non stop crying about the explosive shot nerf. But when I started SoD it wouldn't even get to the third tick and everything would die. I thought to myself oh no please don't let this be an over-tuned OP mess. But we got a new version of a great ability. Then it turned into teenage virgin scorpid hell. It's gone on too long and quite frankly I'd be fine if blizz nerfed hunter into the dirt so I could recognize the people that are here for the love of the class not the love of abusive exploits.

Pls report back. I have a feeling the meta is more bursty than I expected.

I love the experimentation. Wouldn't you want to use crippling anyway for added control? I think it will do fine against all melee but be rather lacking against any caster so I'm on the fence. But please do try it out.

@@ClassicPlusTV from my experience so far at these levels even when i didnt have poisons at all quick draw eliminated every chance for casters to get away. I beat even a frost mage in a duel (duel was at lvl 16 so no parry build but between the eyes quick draw and instead of main gauche it was shadowstrike)

I believe so my friend, I'm leveling one now some I can report back later. I think the speed is highly useful, some good burst in cat and a crazy good defensive bear is all useful

There is a dual wield rune. It grants 5% hit with melee and spells. You’re referring to the dual wield skill, which is separate.

Faction balance is enforced on PvP servers. I suggest playing what you like :) but there could be queues if you pick a more favored faction.

I'm between affliction lock and a healer. Not sure what to do

I hear you. Warlock tank rune was given a large PvP drawback, I expect this may get another one on top of earth shock, which can even be considered not a drawback in some cases... But I can a big problem not being able to earth shock before you get polyed etc. They also have no grounding so rather weak Vs casters, except they have stupid hp, which really is something.

The difference is indeed staggering. It's mezzmarizing to watch them played to perfection. I doubt they will just toss in the trap launcher, it would feel pretty insane for me. I agree I hope not

I hear you, and at @25 I tend to agree. Maybe they will be as balanced as an UD shadow priest against a warrior/rogue/hunter? Being very tanky with some decent self heal options, while dots do much of the work.

For me, they miss a little burst, or mobility or instant cc to not have to just face tank and be interupted by everything. No question they go near the top of S tier in phase 2/3. But I could be totally wrong. I based it on how weak their dmg is normally at lvl 25 without much spelldmg. And if you take full spelldmg you won't have stamina and die very quickly

I believe most of their spells get swapped to melee when in tank mode

I was surprised too, but I don't make it longer than I feel it has to be and I cut out as much fluff as I felt wasn't adding value. Would be easy to make it longer. :) Plus there really isn't too much difference to cover between affliction and demo at level 25 yet.

Appreciate the feedback :) I could have been cleared, but I mean from level 25 to level 40, you get access to 15% from Shadowform + 10% from Darkness + 15% from shadow weaving, for a total of 40%. (as none of these talents are available at level 25)

I didn't really cover gearing, but yeah I would mix it up as feral most likely. Totally agree that you need enough mana to be able to shift and throw a few casts.

I did ignore that as You can take 1 talent in there for a 2.75 sec cast to steal 200 mana at the cost of 100. It's not very good I'm afraid. This will also cost you talents in healing focus to avoid interruption on penance and flash giving you less value out of your best spell penance when targeted. I think it's not worth it. :)

@@ClassicPlusTV i'm not sure if you've actually played Classic, but Mana Burn is one of the best spells in the game for low level PvP. Hunters, Shaman and Paladins are going to be running around with 800 max mana, Casters are going to burn half their mana in three or four casts. In 1v1, Priest Fear into Mana Burns will have a Ret Paladin OOM before the fear breaks, in Group Battles priests can snipe people not paying attention. It's easily one of the best abilities in the game at level 25.

Sounds legit :) a hunter would also be good somewhere or as an added element. Having a mobile range will be very useful
