True, speedrunners for this game are built different...

Once I get to 150 plats (currently on 144), I plan on doing a video where I rank my plats and when I get to 200 plats I'll do a video similar to this one but I might not wait for 200 plats but we'll see.

True, most trophies are pretty stupid but some people just like playing games a certain way...

Wasting ammo got me the plat though, so does that really matter...

@@Ragnar__1__ I guess it would be good to know that if you fire BFG and then jump downwards where there are no enemies you reduce effect of the BFG only to the direct blast damage. Because the additional damage from 40 invisible tracer rays which follows after the direct blast is calculated from players current position not from the position you were firing. That's why you can do tricks like shooting BFG down some hallway, then as the BFG projectile is hitting the wall use teleport to another room and the damage from tracer rays will kill monsters in your view immediately after you teleported (assuming you timed it correctly) You can use it also without teleportation just fire BFG when behind the corner and peek out of the corner at the time BFG is hitting the wall and you will be instantly delivering lot's of damage to any enemies in your view.

yes, nightmare in classic doom was for those harcore players in the 90s that tell ID software that their game was too easy even on Ultra Violence (the harder difficulty it had at that time), then Carmack and Romero went to create Nightmare on the most "bullshitty" way possible lol

You are also crazy for doing this as well, congrats on your achievement. The entire game took me 60hrs total, so I probably took 30hrs on level 29 alone as well.

When you in the moment, it's really hard to aim precise, so you end up wasting more ammo using the plasma gun.

PS3 version has that, I'm gonna play the PS4 version, which they removed the ability to play doom 1&2 in doom 3. It's still gonna be hard though.

Uh, Doom 2 is not that difficult, at all. Is a walk on the park compared to Plutonia for example, and there's hundreds of way harder map packs.

@@coreywilson7326 You can doubt it as much as you like, but just search some gameplay of Plutonia, Hell Revealed, Plutonia 2, Valiant, Sunlust, Italo Doom or Dimensions. Doom 2 is child's play compared to any of these.

That's awesome to hear man. If you managed to get through more than half the characters, then it's only a matter of time and it's pretty inevitable you will complete it.

The reason why keep it short, I don't want that part of the video to drag on and become repetitive, that's why in the sf4 video, I did a montage edit for the trials to show as many trials in a shorter time frame but I do get what you are saying and I do appreciate your complaint, I wouldn't know if I'm doing something right or wrong with a little constructive criticism...

@@Ragnar__1__ i get your point and understand why, since "trial athlete" takes damm near a 30 minute video to sum up the difficulty. Other then that good luck on your career and love your videos besides a few complaints like this one. Unrelated note but for trial athelet you actually gave me hope on re attempting it and i found out that it takes a lot of time and skill but isn't impossible, with that i manged to complete 10-12 character trials now but i'm still dreading C viper and guile.😭
