I use tie wire, solder is expensive. Lol
Bro just put screws in the flange only grabbing the plastic spacers. This shit won’t last very long could’ve used hydraulic cement, or something to fill that void. Those screws didn’t grab nothing but the spacers.
What’s crazy is they all grabbed and went past the subfloor atleast 1”. lol I’m remodeling an entire hotel 140 units and we did this over 30 times
What the hell are you doing? Go below and add a coupling to your toilet riser and bring it up above the floor then use some plywood to seal the bottom and attach your flange to that piece of plywood you secured to the bottom using 3 inch wood screws. This will 100% leak
How about no? Why would I add extra fittings for absolutely no reason 😂 100% none of them leaked, remodeled and entire hotel and did this 30 times
Hack job
I’m sure you are a fantastic plumber lol
Bolt holes are way off...
Use the slots not the adjustables😂
😂 well done! but I’m sure you know like comments above it’s not always that easy… also ever had an inspector tell you they can’t see if you used primer?😃
Making it look that easy should be a crime!
Male plastic into female metal, always.
Open walls, no mud. Jealous. Solid work brother
Lazy. Why not just do it right? Everything is exposed.
That toilet is gonna fall over once a fat person gets up off it. Its not bolted to the actual ground 😂😂😂😂
You don't need to tighten brass into plastic that much it will contract with cold water and crack trust me i know.
I’m putting pipe dope and Teflon tape for added insurance. I don’t care what anybody says. I don’t need callbacks.
Cutting a little close on that drain line
Must be a rental
It’s a hotel lol
U fortunately that will still lift the waste bend if the line beneath isn’t secured or anchored. There still isn’t support
how, its screwed to the subfloor and the spacer kit provides support for the flange so it doesnt flex/break in the future.
@ oh sorry I didn’t even notice that lol. Good job!
Love that extended flange btw those come in handy
@@jonryan5275support yes from going down. But those risers are not secure which means when you stand up the toilet will rock from side to side.
Nice work buddy. Glad to see professionals not stacking 34 wax rings and using 2 tubes of silicone 😂
He also didn't actually bolt the flange to the ground. Ever sit on a wobbly toilet. This is a whole nother level of wobbly.
Never! Lol thanks man
Wish we had these in Scotland 😭
Honestly I’ve never been in a spot I couldn’t make it look good lol
Yeah of course it’s “super easy” when you can hold the pipe and fitting in your hand on a work bench. What about when you’re in a super tight spot with minimal access?
My joints look the same no matter what. It’s seriously not rocket science lol
🔥👌🏽🔥👌🏽
I was admiring the work till I died when The guy at the end said it looks like shit.😂
That’s what you say when it looks good
Lol new construction only.
Did service for 7 years and it was always done the same lol
Now do that inside a wall
Easy peasy
do that with installed pipe while standing on your head mr. " super simple"
Pipe dope on a compression fitting? Does that help or is it paranoia?
The professor...
Ask how high you put the water
Wouldn't you want that cleanout to be closer to the ground? I feel like it would be easier to service/snake if it were lower.
Those r the cleanest solder joints ive ever seen im skeptical that some are ever solder
Even soldered *
@DDunc1020 thanks mom
@@chickenliver1000-r3i no problem son
I've done that. This guy showed me that solder trick some years back. I never seen anyone else do it. Nice work
What's he doing with the solder?
So I changed mine out recently, but as a a Carpenter, I pinned it down with Tie-Wire in hole and some concrete screws. That’s less fancy than this
Nah bruv, only on shower drains.
Use tapcons don't be cheap
Clean joints brother
I fucking hate those moen faucets. Lol i deal with alot too
The old chrome sleeve wouldn’t fit over your coupling so you had to go with that dull piece of aluminum eh
I use the same trick with all the leftover wire the electrician throws on the ground. Solid advice
Breaks tile immediately just taking the crap off pipe 🤦🏽
Already cracked
He didn't shimmer dap you have to dab around the toilet shimmy you can't bolt it to ceramic to ceramic
@@brianszanyi5538 what are you talking about lol
You have never touched a tool and it shows
could have left some drain pipe
Type M on the first drop. So wrong!
No Type M on the whole job. It looks like a red line but it’s the reflection of my bright orange shirt
Assim é que se faz
He cut the drain nipple extremely close to the wall. At least 2" of bare PVC nipple.
Would've been a cool vid to press
Don’t press much honestly!
Reem your copper pleas3
@@ryderkimball7174 every single piece is lol stop telling people what to do bro
Pipe dope on the compression valve?
@@Gabey_inc always do it. Just some extra lubricant. I understand it doesn’t seal anything lol
Where’s the supply valve?
Looks like a commercial grade toilet. The water feed is up top..
@@ChrisCappello-h1r up high. Flushometer toilet
@ Gotcha 👍
With on that later😅
The silicone boys are out again 😂
After 25 years, I learn something new again
@@darylrussell7638 always something to learn
Didn’t seal the toilet to the floor
@@supac4789 I did when we came back through and caulked all toilets and urinals
