Ta Seti- The Kingdom that birthed the Egyptian and Nubian Civilizations #NileCivilizations
Explore the discovery of the oldest known monarchy, predating ancient Egypt by several generations, as reported by Boyce Rensberger in the 1979 NY Times article "Nubian Monarchy Called Oldest." Archaeologist Bruce Williams unveils the significance of ancient Nubia at Qustul, revealing it as the birthplace of pharaonic civilization.
While Kemet (Egypt) was renowned as the most advanced ancient civilization, evidence now suggests Nubia's Ta-Seti region, extending from northern Sudan to southern Egypt, was a highly developed society long before Egypt's first dynasty around 3100 BC. Keith C. Seele's 1962 expedition uncovered a pharaonic dynasty in Nubia that predates Egypt by centuries. The Q...

Interesting. 05:38 Rensburger talks about 3300 bc in that article? Not 6th millennium
Yes, Rensburger did mention the 3300 BC in the article, however, the 6th millennium BC date appears in secondary discussions and interpretations of the findings. According to the cumulative evidence from various archaeological sites and the overall understanding of the cultural and historical development in the region, contemporary scholars and researchers have also extrapolated these findings to propose that the origins of the Nubian monarchy, and thus Ta-Seti, could be traced back to a lengthy period of development, at around 5900 BC.

Tutsi was never an ethnic group but a social class. There were 3 social classes in the ancient Rwandan Kingdom: Tutsi, Hutu & Twa. Tutsi was the highest class & it was earned by service & dedication to the Kingdom. A Hutu could also become a Tutsi by serving a Tutsi noble (Ubuhake) in exchange for cattle & then rise in class to become a Tutsi (Umwihuture). A Tutsi could also lose his Tutsi status if he fell out with the ruling class & got demoted to a Hutu or worse, Twa. Rwandans are descendants of intermarriage between Bantus, Nilots & Cushites. Our looks have nothing to do with being Hutu or Tutsi. Even in a family of many kids, you will find some who look more NiloCushitic and others who have more Bantu features or a combination of all depending on what DNA material each kid inherits from both parents. The Tutsi, Hutu & Twa social classes were converted into ethnic identities by the colonialists & stopped the upward & downward mobility into the 3 social classes to divide & conquer Rwanda. What one would call tribes in Rwanda are actually clans: Abanyiginya, Abega, Abazigaba, Abasinga, Abakono, etc. The King came from the Abanyiginya clan & was mandated to marry from the Abega clan. What happened in the Rwandan civil war was brothers fighting against each other. Very sad

The Tutsis emigrated from Somaliland in 1473 as per the Old Historians who still have all the details. All this happened after a war with different clans and/ or tribes who were on a killing spree in search of clan kingdom and pasture. Let us go back to the Hargeisa Museum and/ or school of History.

@@TheForefrontRadio2 | Benin the Urhobo and Itsekiri peoples were added to the Benin kingdom. Benin also expanded westward by conquering the Yoruba provinces of Akure and Owoh. Upon contact with the Por-tuguese, Benin's economic influence reached a new level. By 1485, the Portuguese reached Benin and traded with the Edo at their port of Ughoton. By the mid-16th century, the Portuguese were already well established on the Nigerian coast and had regular trade links with the Edo, ljebu, ljaw, and Itsekiri people, with Benin serving as the middleman. They traded in pepper, ivory, and later slaves, with manila as a means of currency. The transatlantic slave trade at this time occurred on a low scale, but by the 17th century it was occurring on a large scale. It is significant to note that only a few Edo were sold as slaves. This is because Oba Esigie prohibited the sale of indigenes as slaves. However, the Atlantic slave trade expanded from the 18th century due to the fact that Benin lifted its embargo on the slave trade and began to sell captives taken during Benin's imperial wars. A number of adverse economic circumstances combined, such as political instability and the suppression of slave trade, undermined the economy of Benin in the first half of the 19th century. The second half of the 19th century ushered in considerable developments in Benin, such as external attacks and the spread of British control. Vassal states took advantage of the political instability and an economic depression in Benin to claim their independence. As a result, Akure and some Ekiti towns rebelled, while states such as Ibadan, llorin, and Nupe launched various attacks on different part of Benin's empire. External aggression encouraged internal discord, and this was followed by succession disputes. Also, in 1897 Benin witnessed the British punitive expedition that led to the destruction of the city. Consequently, Benin lost its independence and was annexed to the Niger Coast Protectorate. Benin bronze sculpture of the head of an oba (king). It is thought to be a generalized portrayal of kingship rather than a representation of a particular oba. Such sculptures are used to commemorate the ancestral shrines of individual oba . @@TheForefrontRadio2 Origins: By Agostinho Neto Most of the Mbundu history was discarded from the Angolans centuries ago to brainwash Angolans. After doing the African genealogy test, I found out that I was apart of the (Ambundu) Mbundu tribe which was proven to me by my great grandfather. After years of digging in the National library of Angola, there was some nerve racking information that most people in the world would not understand. Most of the Angolans knew that the name Mbundu was not the original name of the so-called Mbundu and the language they speak (Kimbundu) was not their own. During my search for the truth, I found out that the so-called Mbundu originated from a place no one would think of, Iberia. Based on Mbundu traditions, they mentioned that they came from the great sea, so I knew that this information had to be correct. When they became rulers of the Iberian land, their tribal name was ever known as the Mbundu, it was known as Lobitos which is the name of a seaport in Angola and which the last name (de los Lobitos) is derived from. Most people might think that the tribal name known as Lobitos is a portuguese term but based on history, portuguese was actually the birth language of today's Mbundu. Origin of Portuguese: During the 3rd century, the Lobitos and the Moors were comunicating in the language of hebrew and made a accord that they will make two Bantuez or Bantu languages for each land. A result in this accord was the making of the Spanish language by the Moors and portuguese by the Lobitos. After viewing these facts, I can say that Portguese, the official language of Angola, is a Bantu-iberian language along with the sister language spanish. Immigration to Angola: During the reign of King Alfonso de los Lobitos I, the jewish-portuguese was at war with the Moors after they converted…a Islamic teachings. The moors wanted the whole country of Iberia to be one Islamic nation in which which resulted into a war between the Moors and the Lobitos. This war was in continuum until 14th and 15th century. Portugal's king and the tribe of Lobitos was forced to soccumb their name, their founding language, and migrated from the area to avoid persecution from the Moors. Having the knowledge of navigation, they migrated down the west coast of Africa or Afrikka, they stopped by a desolate land that had the geographical likeness like portugal and made it their new habitat for some years. In the process, they got in contact with indigenous people from Kongo, but had problems comunicating because of the language difference. After years of gathering information from one another, the Lobitos got their new founding name known as Mbundu and the name of their founding land known as Ngola or Angola. During my research, I found in the archives that King Alfonso de los Lobitos the first said. " We are in-fact portuguese, but our mother country is by the sea of meditation. Never denounce your faith and we must never forget our birth languages of portuguese and hebrew."

The British must be lying about how he really died if they won’t turn his body over. It’s also weird how they took a small boy, they could have left him with relatives Even the picture of him sitting on the lap of his fathers killer is strange
The problem with this narrative is that Tutsi's are Bantu men who married Cushitic women.
So you are saying Sa’id of Mogadishu a Somali scholar and traveler, is not the first African ambassador to China?
Sa'id was not an ambassador, but a traveller like Marco Polo, Ibn Battuta, Zheng He etc.
@@afronomadxclusive The ruler of the Somali Ajuran Empire sent ambassadors to China to establish diplomatic ties, creating the first ever recorded African community in China and the most notable Somali ambassador in medieval China was Sa'id of Mogadishu. Idk why you overlook these very accessible facts in your videos. It is the second time I’ve noticed this concerning the history of Somali people. I’m a subscriber of the channel, I like channels that focus on history.
Sa'id was a scholar who spent over 28 years in Mecca studying, he also visited Bengal and China, and became the first African to study the Mandarin language. However, he wasn't there as an ambassador, but as a scholar and traveller like Ibn Battuta. Yeah, Somali states sent ambassadors to China, way earlier than 1414, and I even attested that the earliest mention of an African kingdom in Chinese documents, was Berbera in Somalia.
@@afronomadxclusive He was first African ambassador to china.
They were absolutely not the first, lol. The Aksumites sent ambassadors in India and the Chinese Han Empire since as far as the IInd century BCE and vice versa. In that same period of time, the Chinese equally had a book speaking of historical and semi-legendary far-flung different lands across the known world and one of those was populated by extremely tall, dark skinned hermits in monastic attire (hermit's toga) who were reputed for their extremely extended longevity and being capable to live until 120 years. Said far flung land was said to be neighboring the Chinese name given to the Aksumite kingdom, strongly inferring that the race of long-living black hermits spoken by the Chinese were the same as the Puntite-descended race of Cushitic speaking Ethiopian Macrobians spoken by Greek geographers who populated the heart of the African continent Equator-side, of the lands east to Meroe in Nubia and the African banks of the Red Sea, in Southeast Egypt and in the Horn of Africa. The nation that was said from having made the entire Persian Achemenid Empire tremble in 523-522 BCE and being revered by both Egyptians and Kushites as far much older and mightier than their empires combined. By XIth century CE, the "Zanjistan" (Azania, e.g. the Swahili States) already deployed a corps of ambassadors and Azanian princes in the Tang Empire, while the Chinese equally had traders and ambassadors settled in a few key city-states from the States. Oral traditions in various regions from the Great Lakes and of the Congo basin, in Central Africa, that spoke about the Swahili States been vassal states to a greater medieval realm in the heart of the continent - either the Kitara Empire and its Chwezi dynasty (630s CE - 1303 CE) or the latter Imbangala/Bangala domineered Anzicana Kingdom (early 1300s CE - 1885) - spoke about sandy beige to sallow to at times swarthy skinned nigh-dwarfish ambassadors and travellers with slanted eyes and "Mongoloid" features, native from China and seldom from Tibet too, who walked into the continent years to centuries prior the arrival of Zhang He. Even prior all of these aforementioned nations, Kemet traded since the early Middle Kingdom period, circa 1900 BCE, with a far-flung land in the East named _Sr-rw/Serery_ that might be the same as the far-flung land of _Sinim_ in the Far East mentioned by the Hebraic Bible, of _Cīna_ in modern day southwest China and Indochina by Vedic liturgy and _Serica_ by both Greeks and Romans (Greeks did first heard about Serica from the Egyptians and Phoenicians, btw) . Kemetians traded for _Sererriu_ / Serican silk and riches with the Asiatic natives.
That's a huge lot of information! I'm glad you shared it with me! There's little to no documentation of these historic moments, and that's why I picked on the Ambassadors during the Ming dynasty because they are the most well documented! However I'm glad you shared this with me! I'll check into them deeply. Thanks again! 😊
The “extremely tall, dark skinned people, who lived up to 120 years, the Puntite- descended race of Cushitic Macrobians are Somali people indigenous to the Horn of Africa. They’re not Ethiopians.
