You are right. Almond Farmers joke about it that you call it an almond if it's on a tree and /am-end/ on the ground because you shake the /l/ out of it.

“Sinasabi ko na Tamad ang mga Pilipino talaga” -- ma’am, parang maki po ang choice of word. Parang it’s so improper to associate “Tamad” sa pag pronounce ng words like where they should properly put their tongue to be able to pronounce the words properly. Aren’t you aware that Filipinos are the most sought helpers/ employees in the world kase po ang mga Pilipino ay MASISIPAG, aside from other good traits Filipinos possess.
