No, haha! I just play through these games with cheats to expose myself to fair number of games from each system's library and I like to complete short little games like this as fast as possible so I can move on to more long-form games later.

@@The-Sprites-Templar So why not play it as 16:9 but present it as 4:3 in your videos? You're not gonna get much viewers because these are stretched to hell. I mean, isn't that the point of posting of a video? So people will watch it? Playing retro 4:3 games in 16:9 is pretty extreme minority of retro game players - probably the biggest sin you can do for retro games.

​@@TurboXray To be honest, all of my channels and this one in particular have only existed as a simple barebones platform to post my cheat-assisted playthroughs as they are, with all of their warts, so to speak. Sometimes I change the bitrate of shadow-play to reduce the size of the recorded file, change the output resolution on my monitor (old RCA LCD TV), use a different emulator or even transfer mid-game from original console recorded on DVDs to an emulator if the game gets too difficult. I am really not very good at any video game to be truthful. I have terrible eye hand coordination and very little patience when it comes to difficult platforming segments or long grindy bits in RPGs. This is the main reason why I use cheats and save states on emulators or if I can, I use console cheats on actual hardware like passwords or game shark codes. I really don't make these videos for anybody to watch them at all; I just simply use this channel as a sort of compendium for all of the games that I have played. There was a time years before I started this particular channel when I would always waste my time with the exact same three or so games, KOTOR 1 and 2, Fable and a few others. I would play them over and over and over again, never getting very far, always restarting my game and deleting the previous save files because I would get bored with the game. At one point, I finally decided to just buckle down, play the games, and every other subsequent game once, record the footage, post it to RUclips, and that would be my end-all be-all definitive playthrough, so I would never have to look back. I am also a rather obsessive person and in order to try and get that stressing over every detail under control I have decided to simply go with the flow so to speak, record exactly what happens and post it in all of its glitchy "glory" if you get my meaning. My upload schedule is pretty all over the place; sometimes it takes me 2 years to beat a single game which should only really take me several days because of technical issues that confound me and other things that I obsess over, so I decided to just let it be as it is and just throw these videos out into the ether with no real audience or grand purpose in mind. Does that make sense at all? 😅😇🤣👍🙏

@@The-Sprites-Templar did you manage to play voyeur II in your dosbox? I have the exact same problems that you had in that thread and its the only post that ive seen in the internet about it

I went back and did some testing as I have not played the game probably since I made those posts eleven years ago. I have it working in DOSBox, but I'm not sure about the install error I was talking about right now. I did the thing that irks me about many other posters on threads such as these and that is ask a whole bunch of questions and then when I figure the answer out, I didn't post it. Can you elaborate?

@@The-Sprites-Templarbasically i do this: mount i (pendrive) e:\ (where disc 1 is mounted) -t cdrom -ioctl ok mount c c:\dosgames (exactly like you) ok Z:\>i: i type install and it gives me the error that says unable to make c:\voyeurii Somehow one day i managed to create the voyeurii folder with all the files in it in C: so in dosbox i go to c:\voyeurii and type v2.exe and get this error: unable to open file dig.ini Run SETSOUND (useless) to select an appropiate digital audio driver errorno = no such file or directory Do you have any idea of what i might be doing wrong?

alright man i just fixed it lol changed some settings in the DIG.INI and it worked lol thanks for your help
