Louis Tillett
Добавлен 29 авг 2017
The music of Louis Tillett. See www.louistillettmusic.com. He is a legendary underground musical cult figure. A founding member of “Wet Taxis”, and the Maestro behind “Paris Green“. He contributed to the piano sounds of many other seminal bands in those heady years of independent pub rock with: The New Christs; The Laughing Clowns; Died Pretty; Happy-Hate-Me-Nots; Beasts of Bourbon and numerous others. When he released his first Solo album “Ego Tripping at the Gates of Hell” in the late 80s he began his love affair with European audiences who were amazed at the sophisticated, complex and evocative music and lyrics of the man who came came to be known as “ROCKPOET DER NACHT”. Because he continued to create an undefinable genre - he became more and more revered and enigmatic to his growing worldwide audiences who would be religiously following his outstanding reviews in NME, Muzik Express, Bucket Full O Brains, Melody Maker, Rolling Stone and other influential magazines of the time.

Thank You, Maestro ❤
Deeply saddened and shocked at the passing of my school-mate, my comrade and my friend from Sydney Grammar School as we did the HSC together in 1977. I spent 6 years with dear Louis at Sydney Grammar, College Street. I always admired his musical talent that was evident even then like a burgeoning blast of genius and wonderful keyboard skills. God Bless you and Keep you close my dear Louis. From; David Peter Ehrlich.
A great song by a great singer-songwriter!!!May he rest in peace!

One of the greatest bands of that time. It's amazing to see Louis Tillet is back and releasing music under his own coontrol... such a talented guy. Thanks for this, whoever uploaded it.
Okay, it was Louis Tillet who uploaded it. Pity all this tech wasn't available in the 80s, talent like Louis could get much more directly out to their public. Great to see him taking that opportunity now,
Thank you Thomas. Can you imagine how strange it is to see myself as a young sweet boy. I'm glad you like the video. The Atlantics wrote the song of course..but I'm pretty happy with our version. Keeping an Australian classic alive.
Thanks Thomas!
FUKING AWESOME!!
I'm glad you feel that way!
Hahaha!
