Para evitar que el barco se hunda, construya la parte exterior del casco con casco y la parte interior con acero y viga.

Looks pretty neat. Also, if you are having issues with the textures or faces on top of each other, enable "Backface Culling" (and as another side note, Lucas Gustaffson was the author of the original model, I just enhanced it and ported it to source).
