Fellow at the bow with the fender would have been far more helpful by throwing a bowline to the boats to starboard. At least stop the madness. Easy to comment I know, and hopefully they learned from this, like most of us sailors tend to do after a mistake. Hopefully the rum once they tied up tasted extra good.

Looks looks like a failure in watching which way the tide was going, he should have thrown a line to the boats off of his stern to them and have them hold on until his bow was pushed by the current headed out the bay.

Let's just hope that one of the people just watching and not helping in some way never end up in a similar situation and everybody just videos it for RUclips instead of helping.
