The idea is fantastic thank you so much for sharing this. I have made my own but I would advise people to use cellulose based foam, biodegradable wipe piece (scotch Brite ) instead of using cotton bud. The advantage is that you don't need to wet it in water. Try to hold a piece of it and touch your touch screen device and it will be able to work as a stylus.
