The end sequence of the final episode were Joan Fergusion aka "The Freak" gets her come-uppance to the sheer delight of the jeering inmtes!

They asked Val Lehman 3 times back to the series but her condition was that she was the one that killed the Freak. The Freak was great but she lost her edge after a while and became a comedy figure, the 1986 season was the worst and they all knew the show had been axed the year before.
Wentworth 's Ferguson has done a better job! hands down

Furgeson was a prize cunt. bea smith was a legend. Fair play to the casting department as well all the women look rough as fuck, like they really have been inside for 20 years, wouldn't know whether to fight or fuck them.

"I trusted you" Arhh, I can't believe I feel a little sorry for 'The Freak' when I hear that.
100 bucks says The Freak became top dog of whatever prison she was sent to!
@shaq7427 Bea left in 400... the producers knew the ratings would go down with her exit, but for her to kill the Freak on her way out would have ensured the end of the series. Val Lehman asked to kill the Freak on her way out, but they wouldn't allow it.

@BookhouseBoy77 Accessory after the fact in robbing a finance company; she had Rita rob a finance company and she was going to take the money to get away from Prison forever.
I can just imagine the GLEE on Meg's face when she put the Freak in Solitary. Finally getting even with the Freak just HAD to make Meg's day! Those two hated one another!
All things must end.....and The Freak's reign of terror was one of them.

This was the PERFECT ending to this show, i really hated the freak. But i really miss Franky Doyle the lezo biker, from the first few episodes.
Yes indeed, afingwen. I can think that Bea, Reb, Lizzie; Dor; Judy; Myra and others are perhaps getting a bit of justice, however belated, ya know? And as it turns out, ALL villains get theirs in the end, ya know?
Finally, the Freak got exactly what she deserved in the end! A long stint in prison! And good riddance to her!
yeah loved the freak but Prisoner lost its way after Bea, Lizzie and Doreen left . Bea was the best and was the only one able to sort out the freak
