Building a Lean-To || Adding on to our storage shed
We love our storage shed, but we needed even more space. We decided to add a lean-to to our storage shed to help with outside storage like our lawn movers. We had fun building this quick and easy lean-to. Not only did it provide great storage, but it also made our storage building look even better.

Upgrading our air compressor || Replacing a bad motor and installing the air compressor
Просмотров 83114 дней назад
It's time for an upgrade on our air compressor. Our old air compressor worked fine, but a friend gave us a new one so why not? We took out and replaced the old motor with an amazon knockoff (aftermarket brand), so it needed a little modifying. Once that was finished, we ran 240v power to the compressor and tested it out. It works like a charm.
Routine Maintenance || How I do an oil change, filter replacement, and tire pressure check
Просмотров 30728 дней назад
Routine maintenance on your vehicles is very important and most people, me included, don't really want to do it. But I'm not gonna pay someone else to do it either. When my car needs a vacuum, I know it is time for a check. I always start with a good oil change. The hardest part is getting under the car and making sure we don't spill any oil on the ground. Then we change the filter and check th...

How to make quick and easy porch or back yard swings with this quick and easy demonstration. Our kids love going outside, but we never have enough swings, so we are going to make a large sitting area around the playground to make sure that we all have enough seats to swing. We are going to measure out one swing and then I plan on using that swing as a guide to make two more swings. That way we ...
Replacing a Ceiling Fan || Updating to a better ceiling fan *Hunter* brand
Просмотров 122Месяц назад
Our ceiling fan was fine. It looked nice. It ran smooth. But it didn't do one thing..cool the room. When the fan was turned on, you almost couldn't tell. We decided to update our ceiling fan to another brand, HUNTER. The only reason we chose that brand was because of the advertisement on the side of the HUNTER box that said it was really fast. Hahaha! Turns out, they were right. It was a big im...

I have enjoyed building this storage shed from start to finish and hope you have enjoyed watching me do it. I hope this motivates you to do a project th...

How to extend premade stairs || Welding two extra steps
Просмотров 1493 месяца назад
When my sister moved in her new trailer and had a front porch build, the premade stairs that she had were no longer tall enough. Instead of buying new steps, I decided to extend her stairs by adding two extra steps. In order to do this, I had to weld new extensions to the frame, fabricate the steps, and install them onto her existing front porch. The new steps that we welded and added to the pr...

Storage Shed Series: Building trusses In this video, we will begin building the trusses to the storage shed. We are using used wood that will need to be cut down to size. Then we are measuring the pattern and getting all the wood pieces cut and ready to assemble to build the trusses. Once this is done, the trusses can be easily assembled and ready to put up.
Do I have BAD LUCK now for 21 years? || My huge scrap yard haul and glass breaking afternoon.
Просмотров 8014 месяца назад
We had lots of random metal and scraps laying around the yard and wanted to clean it up a bit. We loaded the trailer with the scrap, tied it down, and then realized we had a ton of glass. We decided to have some fun and break some glass. Safely of course. I hope it doesn't give us too much bad luck.

Over the years, I have enjoyed my fair share of obstacle course races, but this OCR was one of the hardest I have ever had the chance to run. I have trained for these type of races for many years: push-ups, pull-ups, climbing, dragging, jumping, and more. You can watch how I train for these races in my video “How I train for an obstacle course”. ruclips.net/video/8eFEZ2Pch24/видео.htmlsi=KEHKL5...

@@Gmoneygrip1960 glad I could help
absolutely the easiest way to build a simple Truss I've ever seen! Thanks kid you just saved me a $1000 bucks!
Enjoy woodprix woodworking instructions.
Shoulda went to Harbor Freight!
the laminations in the field are not what's important , did you actually measure the windings to ground? also that is totally the wrong plug set, it is the wrong voltage , and it's not rated for the HP you are pluging in . bad advice . also that panel looks like a sub panel, but you have grounds & neutrals tied together. do you have the bonding screw removed?
you could have reverse your pulley on the motor shaft, puttting the taper bushing on the inside. Drive belt can support 1/8 of misalignment per foot of span (centre to centre of both shafts).
Amazon for the win!
I have learned since I made the video that the colic is called a taper lock
few vids on quiting it down. tho simple and easy. gallon can hole bottom hole top. screen in cetner stuffed with foam or ins. set on inlet of pump. done deal. you set it outside.you will have to get a dryer for the air. the amount of water will drown a rat. the can thing i seen worked like a charm. i was suprised. thought here we go again another crap video
@ Thanks for the info I will look into it
Ill just use your compressor and let mine rest 😂

Nice job
I’m glad you didn’t have any truss issues. 🤦🏼♀️
Working on a 20 ft. Trailer myself. Would you mind giving me the measurements from the rear to center of the rear axle now. Mine are to close to the rear. It turns like an 18 wheeler. You guys did a great job. Thanks in advance.
@@MeadRick33 if it’s a duel axel split the difference between both axels at 60% from the front of trailer If single axle put it on 60% A 20 foot trailer will be 12 foot
@@Hereatthehouse thanks
We love our trusses!
What would you do? Extend the stairs or just buy new steps?
Where did you find the 20ft. Boards? I'm doing the same project on a 20 ft. Trailer.
A local store called Oxford Lumber I think it might be part of Ace Hardware You’ll have to look at building supply stores to find it Lowes and Home Depot don’t carry it
Watching you bust the glass was quite soothing. Adrian Monk would have been proud! Wonderful video!!

I think you had fun just breaking all the glass 😂
