Make a ruffle skirt with me ♥️ - Sewing tutorial
Here is how to sew a ruffle skirt! Welcome to back my sewing corner... and to another sewing video!
Today I will show you how I sewed a 3 tiered ruffle skirt using the instructions from Tanya Whelan's book "Sew What You Love". A simple sewing project perfect for advanced beginners, allowing you to repurpose old fabric or use new fabric.
For this skirt I used black broderie Anglaise cotton fabric as well as black cotton fabric, a piece of elastic and my sewing machine and tools.
So dive with me into this project, I hope you like it and why not make a skirt for yourself or your loved ones?

Ничего не могу понять, что так зацепило в этом видео. Открыла, стала внимательно рассматривать и поняла: Вы удачно разместили два квадрата ткани: с ромашками и сразу под ними с черно-белыми цветами.Именно они и соединили всё остальное. И тут уже не важно какой крой, какое плечо, канты и пуговицы. Два красивых кусочка ткани в симметрии и на уровне груди - просто зрительное украшают изделие. В общем, сразу подписалась на ваш канал. Браво, Татьяна!

Классно, а я все откладываю))) Кстати я подсмотрела у Веры Борисюк, она по стеганным изделиям спец, последний раз она заказала краску синюю прямо в машинке стиральной покрасила готовое изделие. Еще нужно пройму для рукава и наоборот ее присобрать а рукав натянуть тогда не будет сборки. Не поленитесь.

Please explain the padding name?
It’s called “batting” and comes in a flat sheet form ( as opposed to stuffing used in pillows). It comes in cotton, bamboo , or a cotton/poly blend. I use the blend. You can buy it by the yard or a precut size from any fabric store. Also, you can use regular fleece (which would be thinner than batting and make the garment a bit more flexible). I would use the batting.
