The cruise ship performing dog is not a Coton de Tulear, it’s a Maltese. You can tell by it’s almost pure white, silky fur and it’s fine features. I currently have a Coton and used to have a Maltese, so I can can confidently say the cruise ship dog is a Maltese.
Omg I didn't know I had a coton de tulear. I just adopted a cute little white puppy and later on I realized she was not a common breed. Her fur is extremely soft and she just loves being around humans. But due to extreme heat in summers we had to cut down all of her hair. Because I live in India and it gets severely hot for my dog. Also we do not have an AC to give her comfort. But she is the charm of my building.
I have the black n white and Milton is the best loveable dog my brother ever had I had a lot of dogs in my life I got to experience my brothers dog Milton and I'm jealous he's the best dog ever ..hands down he came with his own sport tricks - tug of war fetch and everything else he throws to make you get off your butt at first I was like o man but he put the life back in me when other dogs and people couldn't..
Reminds me of my precious Maltese who will live in my heart and memories forever❤️. Can’t wait to get a Coton to spoil like the royalty that they are❤️
Our Maltese dog - Snowy, passed away last month. Totally with you on your loss as well. Snowy lives on in our hearts. Coton looks like a good breed to get.
@@peerguy I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s super hard. It’s been over two years and I’m still struggling without my Dante (Maltese). We got our Coton and love and spoil him. They’re definitely very different than the Maltese. At least ours is. He’s super charming, smart and very chill. Our Maltese was more gentle and sweet. They’re definitely both precious and whichever breed you get, it will be slightly less painful.
@@DianeRoma1 thank you. We are letting the loss sync in. Good know that you found the Coton to be a charming dog. Enjoy everyday with your Coton. We’ll be eyeing one next year.
Well, no, it’s French, not English. Just because English speakers butcher the pronunciation doesn’t mean they’re right. The correct pronunciation is the French one.
We sort of fell into a Coton de Tulear. Got him at 11 months. Super great boy. His name is Ketooneh. We call him Ket. Likes to bark at other dogs, asking them to visit. Requires daily grooming and a bath once a week. Well worth the work!
i am not myself, my cotton from birth passed away...i am going around in circles. ppl tell me to get another one, how can i? my loyalty is to him! ... when i am centered, i would like to see your cottons, & maybe i'll be ready to buy one
I own a coton, the dog is very easy to train (of course if you do it properly),but is extremely food motivated.Lovable, and attention seeking dog that will find its way to your heart, and then you will love the breed forever :D
there is something wrong with your video. It keeps restarting at various spots in the video. Not sure why but I want to make you aware of this. It's the only video that does this to me.
I have 7 Maltese ...but maybe I don't! I think my male may be a Coton De Tulear! Not that there's anything wrong with that...just that I think I think I have one breed and maybe I have another???? Could anyone with a Coton please look at my videos and tell me what you think??
@tamithomas yes, we do brush him every day and that eliminates knots for the most part. we also cut him shorter so his hair is not as long as it can be. we definitely have to be diligent about it. lhaso apsos are adorable as well!
we have a coton and he is wonderful! there's nothing I would change about him, he is sweet and happy and gentle with the kids...even when they aren't so gentle with him. He is always up for playing and running, and is a very good listener. There is no shedding, no smell, and he is ablsolutely beautiful. We love our Domino!
So much looking forward to get our Coton puppy just a week from now. Our previous Coton gave us so many joys for 11 years.
Do these dogs bark often? I live in an apartment.
I love my Coton. He's my Hugo baby.
They're cute dogs.

So cute 😍 our coton Valtteri is now 8 months old 😊🐶 i make some dog vlogs too 👍🏻 best greetings from 🇩🇪 #filmmakingismypassion
Pronounced as co-tawn, not cuh-tone :-)

Dommage ce n'est pas en français !!!
Gahd. Why is french such a "fancy" language. Meet someone who is from there, and just sounds as "fancy" as English :/
