The history of MAX ATV’s dates back to 1969. Recreatives Industries Inc. began its operations. The company, people, and tooling were all specifically organized and developed for the sole purpose of producing a new and exciting product: a six-wheel drive, amphibious all-terrain vehicle.
Under new and enthusiastic ownership as of November 26th, 2021, Planet Resource Recovery, Inc. is re-launching MAX with a solid commitment to offer a line of high-performing and high-quality MAX all-terrain vehicles that both retains the highly effective design features of MAX ATV’s as well as advancing the evolution of MAX products to fulfill the requirements of all customers seeking the ultimate in off-road mobility, utility, adventure, and downright FUN!

Our new 2024 MAX 2 is now in production and deliveries start next week!
Will we still have the problem of not being able to use tracks over the larger wheels and tires?
The lower tub is the same as it was previously...for now. If we change the lower tub, we have to change the chassis, several parts that bolt to the chassis, the roll bar (since it mounts to the chassis, the floorboard mold, among many other things. Our objective at this time is to relaunch production since the vehicle as a whole is a solid design, then we will re-evaluate what the future direction of the MAX 2 will be.

Yes we will offer replacement upper bodies, lower bodies, and floorboards in black.

I'm really excited about the re-launch!!! Don't change a thing about the MAX 2 or MAX 4! Those were amazing machines that were easy to work on!! There's gonna be a lot of happy Max fans out there
We have made simple but much needed improvements to the MAX 2, but the core of the vehicle is the same as the legacy MAX II. It's a much more refined vehicle now!
