What a beautiful bunch of children.

If only American kids were given more time and opportunities to practice. In the Philippines our kids can stay until 7 pm and practice even on Saturdays, but our public school system is so outrightly rigged with corruption and trashy curriculum that kids don’t have the chance to play musical instruments or read books. We have tons of talented kids but schools never provide musical instruments like percussions and wind instruments. Public school system in the Philippines is one heck of a damn rotten and shitty school system for the last 60 years as far as I can remember.

I remember my mother (RIH) had her drumline in Chicago just like this. She git me involved with percussion since I was about 4 years old. But it is so second nature to me as I believe for these youths here.
