Can`t be... Cyprus is a whole another country. It does not belong to Greece for sure.
@ Cyprus has had a "tricky" history and foreign interference where it could not unite with Greece and had no choice but to make a country out of the island. People here speak,, identify and cultural are Greek just like the other islands in Greece. If people could became a part of Greece, then they would in 1 second.
