How many stitches wide is your baby blanket stitches
@@ellenlowery6497 hi Ellen I did 80 stitches using this yarn and hook and it should be about 30 inches. When you do your stitches take a measuring tape and measure to the exact size you want because stitches can vary depending if you stitch tighter or looser. I hope that helps :)

On the yarn it says 11 mm needle
If your yarn says 11 mm you can use that. When you make your chain take a tape measure and measure the chain you made to how wide or long you want your blanket to be because if you use a bigger yarn and hook you won’t need as many chains. I hope that helps :)

Where can find written crochet patterns for this yarn? I love making prayer shawls, throws, hats to name a few items. When I go to the yarn site, most patterns are knit. Can you help?
I do not know where on website you can find crochet patterns but I think any pattern you choose for different yarns would work in the same weight. I recommend making a sample size to make sure you like the way the design is going for you. I hope that helps a bit :)

How many chains for a normal baby blanket please? Thank you it's beautiful. I had just bought the tulip color but didn't want to make the poncho that's pictured.
Hi Kiga if your making say a 30x30 inch blanket 80 chains would be good. Your tension will make a difference so I would say measure your chains with a ruler as you go to get the perfect size you want. I hope that helps :)
@@TarasSimpleCrochet I had decided to go with a throw, but the self stripes didn't work out like your piece. Still pretty but sure would have loved that. 😊
@@kiga1787 I’m sure it still looks beautiful 💕 If you ever want to control the strips or design you can cut the yarn and start a new piece in the following color in the yarn but just know you will lose some yarn doing that. But you can always use for scrap projects :)

I just found you. Looking for ways to use this yarn because it's so pretty. I first saw this yarn well the cotton yarn in dollar tree and love how it feels. I signed up with them not knowing all of their beautiful yarn. I was in Walmart and was about to buy a Lb or bernat bulky and saw this I bought 2 of each color 🤣because it was cheaper and feel so soft & I like to use yarn for different things thank you

So how many stitches do I need for baby blanket?
Hi Rebecca I did 80 stitches for a 30 inch wide blanket. But your tension matters so I would measure with a tape measure and do as many stitches as you need for the width. The length you just measure as you go to get the length you want. Hope that helps :)

Yes you can make an adult blanket for sure :) just use a measuring tape and measure the length of your chain to the length of any size you would like. Hope that helps :)

How many stitches were in your starter chain for the 30 x 30 baby blanket?
I believe it was 80 stitches using a size L-8mm crochet hook :) Easy way do make the size you want is chain your stitches and measure it to the length you want exactly on a measuring tape. Hope that helps . Thank you for watching.

I just recently bought both of those bloom yarns, I had been wanting to try it, then I seen it at Walmart, and I really liked the cowl on the label. So I made it in both colors for my daughter in-laws ! You can see them I think in my # 31 video. I also bought the cozy toes to, and I just finished a pair of socks in it, and they are so soft ! I also just bought the same color hand dyed yarn from hobby lobby , I didn't know it was baby alpaca. I knew it was really soft ! I show it and a few other things at the end of #33. Anyway I really enjoyed your video, I love seeing other people's work !! So ,new subcriber here and I'll see you next time !!!
