    Sulpher kills beneficial fungi. just use aged compost. ( sprinkle a little on top every 8-12 months )

    Propagate seedless watermelons the same way. Just cut 2 nodes past flower and root in water or damp soil. Seedless melon seeds are about $1.00 each now.

    I have an even easier way. If you can, have the gravel as high as you can get it. Then you are going to grab from the top of the pile and only go forward with your shovel( so on the other side of the gravel pile from where he was) and grab from the top and from then on only go down, using gravity as your helper.

    Damn, you should use fulvic acid for foliar sprays. Humic acid is unavailable to the plant itself. Remember kids, humic acid for a soil drench, fulvic acid for a foliar.

    Vinegar will kill all essential microorganisms in your soil. So the best way is the slow way and it is using elemental sulfur. Or ammonium nitrate which is little faster.

    yep. I'll put half a tablespoon of epsom salt into my jug because I don't want to overdose my plants. Then I'll fire up the garden hose that's hooked up to my city water, and fill my epsom salt water sprayer with some nice chlorinated water that I had sitting for 24 hours hour in the hose to dechlorinate... lol jeez, I can't figure out why I have nutrient lockout. why are funny things happening to my leaves?? what does PH stand for? power hour? mhmmmm try a microphone next time you make a vid. volume maxed my end. you don' have whisper. The neighbors aren't home.

    Great video mate. Just wondering, I've been chopping wood for a few months now and my back is starting to ache. Any tips for keeping your back safe?

    • @EasyGardenHacks
      @EasyGardenHacks 4 месяца назад

      Hi for me there are a couple things that keep my back in OK shape this time of year. I used to try to go go go go go now I try to break it up a bit if I can. I might do 15-30min chopping and tossing then I will stop and move pieces under cover/closed to where I stack or I stack if close enough, then circle back around and repeat. I find I probably touch the same piece of wood 5 plus times so if you have ways to minimize the number of times you handle the wood that could help. Splitting close to where you are stacking if possible. Proper rest, again if possible. Decent tools, It took me several years to get to the right axe, I use 2, mostly a splitting maul 8lbs for heavy stuff and a regular axe (fiskars brand) for rest. Knowing your body. For me that means sometimes when my back is sore or aggravated I need to shift to other less physically demanding things or take a break for a couple days. Easier said than done depending on how much wood you are processing. Lastly and also a challenge these days is I keep physically active with martial arts which has helped improve maintain my strength and flexibility as I am aging. Having said all of the aboe if your back gets worse and does not get better with rest, likey good to seek medical attention of some sort. Thanks for the great question an watching my video

    The vinegar indeed changes the pH, however it is short lived as it gets washed away with the next rain or watering. A long term solution is required.

    I'm growing sugar snap peas in my indoor greenhouse right now in December. I have LED grow lights and i picked up a small ceramic heater to better control the temperature inside the greenhouse. The plant is huge but no flowers yet. On the other hand, the pole beans are in their second round of flowering, I have radish and pak choy that are doing extremely well and the beets seem to be growing too. Maybe the temperature is too warm for the peas???

    • @EasyGardenHacks
      @EasyGardenHacks 8 месяцев назад

      Hi cheryl, very cool what you are doing, way to keep things going/growing in the off season. The peas are self polinating so that is not the issues. Sugar snap peas prefer cooler temperatures (around 60-70°F or 15-21°C) during the day and slightly cooler at night. Consistency in temperature is crucial for flowering. Sorry for the delayed response. Best of luck, Let us know if they turn out, always great to hear the stories. Thanks for watching my video.
