OUCH STOP HURTING YOURSELF DAD THIS IS LIKE THE ♾️ 😭😭😭
@@ChanceimToy 🤷♂️
A few moments later 😂😂😂😂😂
@@ChanceimToy lol
Your not wrenching if your not leaking!
@@Greercple lol
You've got to quit hurting yourself😮
@Southernbell105 lol
Good place to go for Impala's and mustangs I counted six 57 Chevy's alot of great cars in there it would be really hard to pick a favorite I like the 57 Chevy's the old coupe's like that red 1940 Ford that's in the front with the tarp on it but i really like that Lincoln the year is 45 - 48 it's at 17:05 in the video i believe the shell of a car is a Lincoln of the same interchangeable year's 😁👍
@@flathead1952 we've been there 3 times now. Two main videos and once to look for a fan when Edna's original fan broke. The electric fan conversion video
@adventureswithedna ok I don't think ive seen the fan conversion video yet i will have to look for that one as I slowly make my way through more videos 👍
@flathead1952 I had been thinking about doing electric but it happened rather unexpectedly. I think we were headed to Cars and Coffee maybe and got a couple miles from the house when the fan broke. So we made an immediate pivot to either fix the fan or convert to electric
@@adventureswithedna yeah I understand that specifically for a daily driver and for long trips
plug the two ports in the center with3/4 plugs the motor will run cooler and better
I was considering it but it seemed like it wasn't necessary unless you were in warm climates or performance engines
get rid of the small air cleaner put stock one the motor will breath better the gas miles is better
@lawrencecarberry1399 I've been looking. Absolutely hate the one on it
Theres alot of cool cars in there i had my eyes on that 51 or 52 Plymouth that was 2 cars down from the cougar its like mine but its a 2 door. There's alot to talk about in this video like that cool 56 Chevy wagon nice projects like the model A, and the panel truck, there's lot of potential in so many that I seen. Have to watch part 1 now 😁 👍
@@flathead1952 there's so much to look at. Been thinking about going back
@adventureswithedna That would be cool you never know what's going to be there the next time. I'm glad no one fell in the mud
That would be cool if the owner would sale you that panel truck for a future build and I had to laugh a little when you went to commercial brake i know that hurt tho. You guys are doing a great job on Edna 😁 👍
Thanks so much. There is a 48 to 50 panel for sale nearby. Roughly the same shape but no engine or transmission. It's in the 2 junkyard videos we did earlier this year. Hasn't sold yet
@adventureswithedna Cool I will have to go look at them and see your other videos too 👍

My firewall's the same way... Like a wind tunnel
@cmlloyd1969 yeah I'm trying to plug everything up so the heat feels better
Good work! Yeah gotta have enough coolant in it or it won't read anything. Glad its working! :)
Definitely helps
A shop vac would help a fella out on that cleanup I gaurantee.
@@ShelbyBunton absolutely
I’ll have to try those haha
They were good
Lots of helpful information...thanks! I was concerned you wouldn't get it back together in time with Chance leaving but you did it.
We tried. Thanks for watching
I need to learn how to do it when I'm older😂😂😂
@@ChanceimToy 💪💪💪💪💪
Never touched an engine that old, is there a pattern to those head bolts too?
Yes. In the main video which will be out tomorrow at 4 we go over the torque procedure. In this video he's just making all the bolts flush with the head before we start tightening and torquing
Yes sir. You should be proud. Looked at you, never missed a beat and kept on wrenching. Nice 👍. Proud papa moment for sure. 👍👊✌️
Yeah it was pretty awesome!
Good Work! Chance is learning!
He did great!!
Friend of mine had an 8ba that would smoke out the left bank on acceleration and smoke out of the right bank on deceleration. It was a quart of 50 wt every hundred miles type of motor.
@DKing-jg7fl I had a 390 that was leaking oil like crazy and burning it. When I finally got all the leaks stopped it blew up
Thanks as always!
@alandust2188 thanks for watching !
@adventureswithedna yeah, looking forward to part 2.
3 DAYS OF AWESOME TRUCK WORK
@@ChanceimToy you did great Chance!!
Love seeing you guys getting the Flathead apart and the slow motion part was pretty cool now I'm excited for the next video 😁 👍
@flathead1952 it happened so fast I didn't even see it. Then Chance was like don't worry dad I got it on video lol
You missed one
🤣🤣🤣
Just subscribed... you're kinda local to me. Ill be on the look out for ya. Im gonna be rebuilding a '51 Ford F7 soon.
That will be really cool. There is a 48 F4 in Boiling Springs

That's real nice. KR Wilson made the best tools for Fords back in the day (you probably know that)
After making the video I looked them up online and read up on them. Really cool
I'm glad you finally found some! My favorite flavor for sure, even better if you heat them up.
Lol. Wow thanks for commenting. We wondered if you'd ever see this video. We made it a mission to find them cause no one carries them near us
That's really cool I would love to see you use it sometime in the future love that unique shape 👍
@flathead1952 well you're in luck because it's coming up
@@adventureswithedna cool I'm looking forward to it 😁
I can turn my steering wheel 3” before there is any movement. Yeah it’s sloppy. I likely need to replace all of it.
I'm gonna have to figure out something with mine
Lost in time.
For sure
how could have started a fire you must have some kind of fuel anybody that knows Fords leather starting systems have initial High draw due to where the solenoid is mounted when I was 16 years old and had a falcon with a straight 6 I learned that
My friend had a white 61 Chevy Apache before he passed away and it had a step up diamond plate rear bumper but it was straight acrost not oval and he said it was a texas truck and the bumper was factory. I really liked that old train it was pretty cool and that Chevelle too 👍
@flathead1952 I could be wrong but I think the train is an air bnb
@@adventureswithedna I'm not sure don't know much about train's but it's pretty cool might have to look that up. My favorite train is the 1939 Broadway Limited 😁
@@flathead1952 we have an older video where we were searching for abandoned train cars on an abandoned track
@@adventureswithedna cool I will have to watch it 👍
Good show. Thanks for taking us along. Thanks for sharing. Happy Thanksgiving!! 🦃🦃
Thanks for watching! Happy Thanksgiving to you as well
You should have took the sign and wrote "pardon her tires, white walls coming in soon" 😊
Lol
So since I'm finally finishing this video, I thought of something you might should have done. When you cut the music just do a voice over of taking about the cars that are being shown. Just a thought 😊
that music :) nice!
Love it!!
glad to see you using that shop manual!! Great work!!!
Absolutely!! Thanks

Pretty cool the way you guy's did the alignment im going to have to start doing that i appreciate the knowledge you share in these videos 👍
Yeah it was a neat process for sure. Thanks for watching
Have used a similar method for years with much success, especially on straight axle vehicles.
This was my first time. Pretty cool process
FIRST!!!
Lol
That’s one way doing it I guess. Might even be better than the front end alignment machine. More involvement the old way though. Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend. Happy Thanksgiving!! 🦃🍽
Yeah it was pretty interesting. Never seen it done like this. Plus Doug's jigs were really cool
