Yeah again the AI isn't smart enough to play against you. You're in square formation which leaves you at a disadvantage with movement ability. Your archers are wide open to getting slapped by cav. You only have one cav squad to defend. If you did this on total war, you'd get crushed

I do it easier. I take the cavalry to the flank (Any), I put the infantry in a square in front, and the archers stand a little behind, behind the infantry (If there is a hill - ideal) and when the enemy starts to attack the square, he opens his shields and becomes vulnerable to the archers, and the cavalry attacks the archers from the flank.

I usually just do a large shield wall behind them archers and my riders are hiding on the left and right side and when the enemy gets close enough i send the riders from the side or back works alot for me since i beat a 700 ish with my 286

I saw another video where the made an massive line square all soldier pointing outwards shield walling from another war tactics but have no idea how he created I can do formation but don't get how you angle them like you have you archers in a line at an angle I got no idea how to do that and see people change the width of.the formation etc

I'd just advance my shield wall up and have my archers linger behind, when your cav comes out, I'd send two cav formations into your archers while my horse archers form the circle of death around your remaining cav and infantry. Fortunately for you, the Ai only really knows charge.
