Thank you for the info brother. I recently got the 555, and I didn't really like the feel of the velocity sensitivity. It felt unusable. After I changed the velocity to low tho, things got a lot better. Thx

Hi I tried this out on my SP555 and had no luck, anyone else able to use this with the sp555? Or if theres another program out there that can be used w it?

I bought one of these off eBay. I have it connected properly as It connects to my laptop but it won’t trigger anything in ableton when I load my drum rack. Still only responds to my keyboard *Edit* if you’re having this problem make sure you install the driver that is available online according (make sure it’s for the right OS if using mac)

Can you do this with the SP-404SX? I have been beating my head against the wall simply trying to get the delay effect to change its BPM with my tap tempo. Its infuriating.

Bit of a longshot here, but wondering if you are still using this sampler and have a workaround for getting the wav converter to work on the latest system update of Mac os? Can't see a way to get it to work other than running parallels desktop which seems like a big undertaking for one programme

I have a pedalboard I use on the table top... it has a drum machine running through an effects pedal into the ditto X4 looper.. and my guitar running through the other effects pedals into the ditto X4 looper.. how do I hook up the Korg kaoss pad to the Looper to be able to affect the overall loop with the sound effects from the cord? Do I do this with MIDI cables?

My only criticism on this demo is the loops you used already have so much effects that it's kind of hard to hear just exactly what the kp3 does at certain points.

In theory I would love to use this... I feel like a grandpa, but... how in the world do you open the app??? I went to the website and it seems to just have a bunch of code. I downloaded the zip file but seriously, anyone know how to actually just RUN the app? I get how it works, I just can't... get it to work. Ha ha. Any help would be much appreciated. The wav converter program Roland uses isn't recognizing any of my SD cards (and no, they're not broken and yes they've been formatted in the 404). So, if anyone reading this can tell me how to actually open the app, that would be a MASSIVE help as I need to edit my banks on my 404 but can't seem to find a program that'll do it for me. Thank you!

How do you those designs to play on the kaoss pad when it’s not being used, mine says “Dj 803” over and over.. do you know how to change that?

Anybody know why all my samples are coming into the software as mono? The button to change from mono to stereo is locked in both the app and the 404 itself?

I subscirbed soon as this beat dropped/. As a fellow SP404sx user, let me ask you, do you track out your beats from the SP to yourDAW or do u juse dump the beats whole on your DAW?

Are you using the 555 as a drum machine, with patterns composing a rythm, and the 404 for chords / melodic parts? Would you suggest me to do the same or meanwhile you did experience a better configuration? Thanks!

What are you using on the right a Boss what?

Hello! I’ve been trying to import beats onto my SP 404 OG with a 128 mb cf card but it only loads in 3 beats that are about 2 minutes each. Any way to take advantage of the sample time fully to make a full beat set? I’ve formatted the card and changed the bit rate of the files and non are longer than 3 minutes. They all fit on the card too so I don’t get why I can’t play them all.
