Inside joke regarding Preacher saying at 11:15 when Preacher says to Nicole and Jody "when did this stop becoming a conversation and turning like the Perry Mason hour?" EDGE actually started as a daytime version of the radio show Perry Mason. Originally P&G contracted the Perry Mason creator but he had a falling out with CBS (where EDGE was done live most of its CBS run from 4/2/1956 to 11/27/1975; it moved to ABC on 12/1/1975 until its 12/28/1984 finale). Apparently CBS demanded more romance in the storylines than the Perry Mason creator was comfortable with (he later made up with CBS and started a Perry Mason primetime series on CBS a year later). P&G and CBS later went with one of the Perry Mason radio writers and hired John Larkin who played Perry Mason on the radio program as the similar police officer turned attorney Mike Karr.

This has to be the most hilarious wedding in soap history or real life weddings I've attended. The only things missing were when La Raven confronts Sky regarding his statement that he's absolutely penniless which he tries passing off as might as well be penniless. She correctly says "one means we have to wait a week before renting a limo; the other means tomorrow we have to dine in a trash can". Right before that she understandably screams "NOOOO?!" which I've done reasonable facsimiles of regarding personal issues and current events

LMAO at La Raven's cutting the cake at 14:14; she did everything but decapitate Schulyer (Sky) - and at Miles saying at 14:29 that she should have been a surgeon! In real life Sharon Gabet (Raven) has worked as an RN for years before going into daytime drama and afterwards.
