Daft. Why the silly rear arch vents ? why US $ ? The Capri was the European version of the Mustang. Nothing to do with Dollars ! It was also the "Poor Mans Mustang" so adding a stupid engine was only for the stupid. Yes. I was Stupid. I've owned 5 3.0 V6 Capris. The fuel consumption to actual performance is what killed it for me especially when a AeroDeck Vtec Civic blew me outta the water.
