EXACOR Magnesium Oxide panels
Добавлен 16 фев 2021
EXACOR Magnesium oxide (MgO) panels offer simple strength and streamlined installation for a building panel with exceptional workability. EXACOR panels are fire-resistant [1], high-density, structural magnesium oxide cement panels.
EXACOR™ underlayment panels are specifically engineered to meet the fire-rating, sound-rating [2] and dimensional stability requirements of most multifamily and light commercial jobsites. In addition, EXACOR underlayment panels can offer a base for floor coverings that can eliminate the need for gypsum underlayment and the jobsite delays that may come with it.
1. EXACOR™ panels may be used in specific published fire-resistant-rated assemblies as tested in accordance with ASTM E119/ANSI UL 263. Follow published fire-resistance-rated assembly requirements and consult local building codes and designer of record for fire-resistant design requirements. 2. EXACOR panels are designed to function as floor panels in specific fire and sound rated assemblies.

The off-gassing is critical. More people are killed and injured by toxic smoke than actual burning in fires. Another key concern is the source of the MgO and its purity.
How long is the warranty for Exacor panels.
Exacor looks plain like gypsum. For interior use, plywood can beautiful.
Does Exacor use a chlorine or sulphur based formula of MGO?
Exacor needs more instructional videos. I do want to know why is it used as underlayment if there's still a need for OSB/ply underneath. Also why isn't MGO cement or something like that recommended as a patching material instead of caulk? They also should have specified they used a construction adhesive/construction adhesive foam in the video for the larger MGO board patch.

Greetings, can you quote me some Fireproof MgO magnesium oxide boards with the following specifications fire resistant with combustion tests above 1200°C free of formaldehyde, asbestos, chemicals and materials that generate oxidation in the screws and steel parts used in the assembly. that are permeable, free of perspiration.
…and what about using SCREWS instead of nails (which can pop out)? Inasmuch, the nails in a nail gun are prolly not ringed… right?
At 3:58… 1) It’s stupid to say "2 sq inches or larger." You’re never gonna have exactly a 2 sq inch gouge in the panel. Just say "larger than 2 sq inches." 2) How can you install 2x blocking (for the patch seam) if your placing the patch (and panels) over existing plywood subfloor?
What is this, a osha commercial? Sell me the benefits.
