you try to control the rotation, it's not the shoulders that send the rotation, and you start it too late. The kicker is not wide enough for your level, you would need a lot more speed if you knew how to do them to turn . You know how to turn while sliding, so start a turn before jumping, you need to be at least 90 degrees before exiting the jump for your level, plus you lose power by absorbing the bump, and therefore speed.

cool project. especially the raspberry pi part. just one footnote, this python script of yours is more like a shell, not really an operating system. the operating system is the part that manages input and output and communicates with the hardware. in other words its what allows your input() and print() calls to even do anything, because without an operating system, the cpu has no idea what to do with that. what os are u running that script on? raspbian/raspberry pi os?
