Hi Kevinchu....The fire effects, like Maleficent’s dragon, were temporarily suspended after a Disneyland incident in 2023, but Hollywood Studios uses a different system, and no permanent changes have been announced.... we're all waiting for the dragon....

What happened to Elsa’s freezing of the mountain, the dragon and fire on water effect?
Hi lonesoul ! Great Question and I hope this helps... In "Fantasmic!" at Hollywood Studios, Elsa performs "Let It Go" with enhanced lighting and lasers, reappearing in her ice dress. The fire effects, like Maleficent’s dragon, were temporarily suspended after a Disneyland incident in 2023, but Hollywood Studios uses a different system, and no permanent changes have been announced. The show has also received updates to projections and sequences for an improved experience.
