Hey, I was wondering wym by getting the plane ticket “re-routed”? Can you explain that process please.
Sorry for the delay on response but after A-school they will fly them out to their duty station, but often times they have a week or two in between that they aren’t required to start work, so many people want to go home for those few weeks and then go to their duty station and report. So if your spouse wants to come home and visit you, they need to make sure their plane ticket is going home and not to their station
Does the military pay after A school to move ur family with u to their first station?
Yes! They will pay for the movers to come and pack your whole house and ship it, but you have to pay for everything else yourself, food, gas, air fare, or whatever and keep your Texans the. They will reimburse you

Thank you for this video. After A-school, you said they route the plane ticket to the duty station...if they route it like back to where our family is, do you know if theyll cover the flight to his duty station after hes been home for that 10 days or so?

Hey is it possible to be on a waiting list when he knows his station if his kids are down as dependents but I'm not yet? We've been together almost 10yrs w 2 kids and he's in boot camp and then going to Florida for A school. If he has a few days before going to his station can we get married and then we can add me to the processing for the housing at his station or I'll just have to wait until once I'm married to start the housing process once he's there ?
You know I’m not sure how that works honestly, and I’m super late responding so I’m interested to see what process did you have to do? I would say he could sign up for housing because he has kids, that’s my thought process

My wife just went to basic training in Chicago.. how long will it take to reunite my family? And since we have a full family will she be stationed on land or will they still station her on the ship
I’m soooo late responding so I’m sure these questions have been answered for you. Really they can station them anywhere regardless of having a family

Hey girl! If you’re married during a school would you be able to move into housing or you have to wait until after schooling? Also, when he came to see you go into labor how long was he there before you went into labor? And allowed to stay? Etc?
Hey! We were married before he enlisted and you have to wait until after schooling before you can join your spouse. And he graduated a school a day before I went into labor he was able to stay 14days and then had to check into his duty station in Cali. He then got us put on the on base housing list and it took like 2months for us to get a house and then flew back home and we drove across country as a family to Cali to live.
Hello my name is Lucy when you say apply for housing are you living on base my spouse was ship out on July 3, do you know if they ask you where you want to be place or did they just pick Cali for your hubby.
