Cool song! Except those French kids, yuck
Man. I miss 90s hockey.
Snowflake society killed Coaches Corner...
I am 63 and grew up with H.N.I.C . in the late 60"s. Now hear this apparent theme and think WTF ? Who ruined a good thing?
Bravo Antoine!

Hockey Night in Canada used to be the best sports broadcast in North America bar none. Nobody could touch the quality of the broadcast. Granted, this version of the song isn't as good. It's frustrating when they have to have a female version of everything. They couldn't write another original song for a lady to sing? She has to constantly be compared to the original. Most sequels are terrible. Why would you do that to a woman? That's not feminism. That's disrespectful to women. Give her an original song. I don't have a problem with female songs, superheroes, or anything like that. I have a problem as a guy when something was created by men, and we can't even bother to let the Ladies have their own thing. You deserve better. I don't know who sings this, but she's a good singer and should have had her own original song before the games. Congratulations, you're in Home Alone 6. But Home Alone is a Macauley Culkin thing. It doesn't matter if you stick a boy or girl in that role, if it's not Macauley Culkin, you're just a copycat. You're not doing anything original and if you think your singer or actor are any good, you'll give them their own original thing.
When hockey was good
This was better
Anyone know the actual name of the song and who sings it?
Lol those kids in that intro are all grown up now 🤣🤣🤣
Johnny Canuck right??
The Thrashers take on the Saints? The Gaylords? I can't understand what these kids are saying.
RIP Atlanta Thrashers(1999-2011)
drop the puck
Remember when CBC and Sportsnet were two separate productions and broadcasts.... Sigh.......... That is what made Hockey Night so special, it was different. Nothing felt like it. Now Hockey Night is no different really from any other hockey broadcast throughout the week. :(
It's sad it has to been like this.
Bring back the original version this is Terrible
go hawks
You youngsters won't remember but there was a far better (original) version of this song in the mid'90s
Chris Mac with a umm. Male singer.

Still a bitch
I don't even remember the girls version, where is the original of this I cant find it lol
habs get shit on by the bruins? since when have you started following hockey? through the two teams' history montreal has dominated the bruins. the canadiens have a 24-9 record against the bruins in the playoffs and are 343-259-103 all-time. habs have 4 times as many cups as bruins have, and it hasnt been 100 years, it's been 19 years since 1993 when we last won it. boston finally wins a cup since the 70's and the world comes to an end haha, but dont worry, you wont win another one for a while.
siiiiiiick... great dangles and presence, wanting the puck and showing confidence. look out!
@Flynnsox stop living the past frenchy..u probably werent even born the last time the habs won a cup..and that last one was the last one they'll ever win.
@hcpspilakarb Congrats on winning your 6th Stanley Cup Bruins fans. Just 18 more to go!
Thank you
Ron and Don! Keep up the good work there boys. GO LEAFS GO!

@TheLeafsFan19 yes he said later on someone takes on the oilers but i couldnt tell who either
wtf did the 3rd kid say? something oilers right???
@dannyd534 "Who own da Chiefs?" "OWNS.....OWWNNNNNS"
that's right, an english speaking Captain.
@constantinosbassman Faith Hill (a Nashville Predators fan, BTW. :-))
I hate this version too. I LOVED the old one, but it had copyright problem when the contract ran out on it.
@NightfireOP i still dont get what he was tryna say
that one kid sounded like he said "blah blah blah, as the gaylords visit the oilers"
the barenaked ladies did the original, i dont know the name but its way better than this anyone know where i can find it?
Its just a matter of time untill TSN takes over Hockey Night In Canada from CBC
does anyone have the old version of this song? It's so much better.
@URProductions no ... this is the theme for HOCKEY TONIGHT .. not HNIC .. there is a different theme for HNIC .. this is a good intro ..
That sing they play is better than the shitty country song they play before Football Night in America here in the states. God I hate NBC.
what's this song called and who played the original version of this?
@URProductions No, this is the intro to their pre-game show. Imagine my dismay when I confused the Nickelback 'Saturday Night' montage during the theme song saga.
Good to see the footage of my favourite Canadien, Patrice Brisebois.
@E11evenz11 One thing I've learned about French Canadian people, they won't acknowledge any allegiance to France whatsoever...They think French people in France came there from Quebec!
