I was just looking for one and they are $35. They use to be a buck 50.
Remember the Gurley candles? The skull one was cool.
Yes! They were great!
I remember the strong plastic smell from the costumes walking down the aisles of K-Mart when i was a kid.
Yup. K-Mart for sure. That's where I bought my Easy Reader costume from the show The Electric Company.
What does this table need. It Halloween and you have a holiday classic. But no popcorn, mallo pumpkins or mummy hot dogs, slime (yogurt) or blood (V-8 or tomato juice) and of course the sodas and chips.
This the type of Halloween decorations I like to see not the bloody and gory crap just plain fun and cute 🍁🎃
I live in Phoenix and because winter doesn't really show up until almost Thanksgiving. The first time you wear a latex mask that covers your whole head. You only make it maby 2 block before the thing comes off. between the sweating and eyeballs steaming over.
@@michaelschwartz9782 That's really something! I can remember Halloweens where it snowed, but only remember one that was hot and humid.
Maybe it's more of a universal thing that if you want to wear the coolest costume you're going to have the hottest head. The things we used to do look good and get the most candy.
Beautiful opening
@@Ready4Raw Thank you.
I had this. ❤❤❤❤
damn bro gotta kick me right in the feels with the opening
Sorry about that. I lost a close childhood friend a few years back and think of him every time I think of the past.
I totally had this kite! I think I used the stickers on something else though. Bring back those days please!!
I was Casper one year. Take me back, please.
If you figure out how to go back, I'll be right behind you!
Halloween isn't the same anymore. Back in our day, kids could walk through the streets and collect razor blades and cocaine from their neighbors in peace. Now it's all "fun size" candies.
On the off-chance someone outside of Gen-X read this comment in confusion - in the 80s, we constantly heard about 3 "Stranger Danger" topics: razorblades in candy, drugs in candy, and "satanic child murder" cults. All of it was bullshit, but people got so worked up into a frenzy that our parents got...weird about us just being kids.
Mine didn't. My parents were smart. RIP@@MrSacheverell
And hike a mile thru the dark field to get to that single house because they actually gave out full size candy bars
when music started thought was toccatta by sky / john williams
Fun Halloween video! Great to see new content from you!
Thanks, it's been quite some time. I got sick of dealing with youtube.
@@theoldestkidintheworld7365 Understandable! I have been there with my channel as well lol.
Love those old die-cut decorations, they're the best. I Remember having the Evel Knievel suit and wearing the mask after Halloween riding my big wheel and getting nick-name Evel Knievel by this older woman who lived with her husbund in a duplex on the next street over. 😊👍
Does it do what it claims to do?
Yes and no. I am of the belief that water infiltrating vacuums are more of a gimmick than anything. If you dump your bagless or bagged vacuum's content into a bucket of water, it would be the same effect. This doesn't have near the power of a top of the line performing vacuum like a Riccar.
I hadn't seen some of this stuff for decades. Thank you.
You're certainly welcome. Thank you for watching.
@@theoldestkidintheworld7365 I had forgotten about the weird crackle plastic art. So many odd things about the 70s that just fades into memory but when you remember them it's like "what were they thinking?" I imagine some of this stuff is still to be found in garage sales and attics or Ebay.
OMG. I’m shocked at how many of these damn things I actually bought. LOL
It's funny how important as well as awesome trinkets were when you were a kid.
So many. Still haven't seen the horse mask I wore when I was little in the 60s. That was my favorite. Until mom cut holes out for me to breathe better. That ruined it.
I'm not sure how I got it but I had that exploding grenade back in elementary school.
We used our Zeroids as a crossover with Major Matt Mason. They were his robotic helpers. My brother & I had the first four Zeroids between us but we did not want that goofy looking Alien. It just didnt fit into our set up.
Lovecraftian Monstrosities!
I ordered some books. I knew most of that stuff had to be fake. In the early 70’s I ordered the giant dollhouse. My 4 year old could indeed set inside of it. There was a small battery operated light. The furniture was ok as was the dolls. It was cheap cardboard but I took some 1x2’s and reinforced it. Held up well. The secret to ordering stuff was to remember it was off the back of a comic book. I miss seeing those ads
It's truly an astounding list of games, only about 10-20 of which I've heard of, but Full House (1979, Parker Brothers) and Stock Ticker, could be mentioned too.
I’d love to meet the kid that went as the “Astroids” video game 😂
I have this model I had found in a old shed and it's been sitting there and I found at least 70 cassettes for it. But yesterday I accidentally broke the dust cover for it and it made me sad
@@christianhernandez6684 Sorry to hear that. You won't be missing out on much soundwise, but the nostalgia is top notch!
I'm so disappointed! I was hoping to see how to do a repair!😢 My skeleton moves but no longer laughs or eyes light up. Not sure what the video was for. Totally bummed.
I found one at an estate sale today for 2.58
Excellent video
👍🎃
I always wanted this!
I loved the series as a kid but the book was as usual better. In the book Danny was turned by Barlow. Ralphie was killed and sacrificed.
This movie was a case of less is definitely more
Barlow was definatley homaged in blade 2 the reapers, 1979 salems lot has some really scary atmosphere the Glick brothers at the window was nightmare fuel to my young eyes😮
I just found an old photo of me wearing the last helmet sometime in the late 70s
These newer kites are smaller and of much lesser quality then the ones made in the 70s This guy obviously never had one in the 70s or he would have mentioned this. They are smaller as well. Eyes much smaller too
@@Madayy Nope, I was born in 1973, so "this guy" had several of them.
Greetings! Are you available to teach me how to perform surgery on a MOTIONETTE? It would be a blessing if you would. Thank you
My Favourite toy still remember looking at it everytime I went to town hoping no one would buy it before I got my Birthday money . I Bought it along with some figures
That's a great find
Mini Me
With the music it is pretty dope
2:06 I waited my whole life to finally see this at the age of 50. Thank you!
I was expecting the deep booming rumble of the one My late Grandma had. Yours is a high pitch cackle? Fascinating! 🤔 My Grandma's laffin head cowboy has battery corrosion but I resently watched a video which shows how to clean battery corrosion and I tried it out on some other fun items (collectable toy drummers) which my Grandma collected. I got those items working again! It's like getting a hug from Grandma and they sure bring back memories. 🥰 I will try to clean the corrosion off 1st but if that doesn't work I will come back to this video. Thank you for sparking hope again! ♥️
My husband bought mine today. ❤ I loved mine when i was 3
Zod lives matter lol
This is very helpful.as i got one and he dont work. Iwas afraid to mess around and breakhim. But i have more confidences now
Only had two of the six as a kid, never found the other 4 that I needed. I think he was very underrated. One of the best things the GoBot line produced, IMO.
Thank you for this video
I’m 49 and can’t remember I game I used to have. It had small shapes and you had to put in the flat plastic board before it popped and threw all your pieces everywhere. Anybody remember that one?
Very good
