Do not let bro cook again 😭🙏
Beautiful! I look forward to seeing more of your progress!
hell yeah
Keep up the good work! Don’t rush the fast bits, they deserve the same musicality and sense of pulse and breath as the slower parts. 😊
LITTLE TIPP: Practice the parts more that you cant play that well, and include way more dynamics. Play it with your heart yk?
You might be a bit too low on your chair. Ur right wrist seems to be bending a lot while ur forearm is straight. But maybe just the camera angle idk
Epic bro
in the fancy waltz part 0:17 (atleast thats what i call it), i think the bass chords could be quieter so that the theme could stand out more d=(^o^)=b
I read that this is just with a month or so of practicing---all I have to say is you've done an amazing job thus far!! to be fair though, I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Chopin. he's been one of my favorite composers ever since I was a kid. your playing is gentle yet powerful: it goes great with Chopin. the only thing I would suggest is playing with a bit less pedal at the beginning of this piece. it may be a personal thing, but it sounds a bit lighter if you're more sparing with the pedaling. it's a bit more pleasant to listen to. I'm excited to see your progress! again, great work, this is quite a difficult piece and you're doing spectacularly so far <3
Great!
Bro's playing Ballade No. 1 and is grinding Demons...same as me bro
That's a lot of movement
Just a quick tip: play the opening without the pedal!
How many hours did you invest in this piece alone my man? Work in progress but very promising actually.
I've been practicing this piece for around a month or 2, usually daily for around 30 minutes to an hour. The piece is really fun to practice lol.
@ your learning is too fast. Imagine how it will be a year from now. Regards,
Damn that was good, how long have u been learning the piano for?
Thanks! Around 9 or so years
6:34 If you're talking about the middle section, it's actually A minor, not E :)
I found the sheet music on musescore so some of it might not be accurate lol. I'll take a look when I get time.
@@GPK1075 It would be more better to either buy an official copy from G. Schirmer or even just printing off of IMSLP for a truly accurate and satisfactory copy. Musescore users usually forget to change certain things, and it generally doesn't look pleasing to the eyes. And Musescore requires payment. IMSLP is completely free :)
This is a not bad NERF gun
Gg!
Damn the first one was awesome asf

nah call of nerf is better

Bravisimoo!! You reallu cook man, keep up the amazing work!
hi brandon im on the van rn
Pretty sweet!!! 0:31 Hyperias thing hehe😅
Great attempt! Here's a few notes once more to get you closer to a decent, performance ready result. 1) At the introduction of the coda, you use your arms and hands to exert the massive il piu forte possibile. Instead, you should rely on your shoulders and rely solely on gravity. This will prevent major tension issues and give you leeway to complete the coda. 2) I will mention this again like in your attempt in Revolutionary Etude, use dotted rhythms. But for this context, don't just use it to improve hand readiness, but to also account for the accents on each "ba-dum" chord on the right hand and the many jumps in the left. 3) at 0:33, personally, I would use 5 3 2 for the G minor chord. This is just a preference on my end (I don't do it in my full attempt, but have been doing it since), but is helps for me to hit the D dominant over C. 4) You seem to make a lot of tempo alterations when it gets difficult. Practice slowly (usually with metronome) so you can get it to even speed, like with Krystian Zimermann's performance. 5) At 0:40, those chords in the left hand should be hit more harder! Like in 0:44, but you didn't pierce the F# (and messed up and clustered). Practice just that part with the left hand alone and get the phrasing. It will help shape the musicality. 6) The downward scale after the previous tip shouldn't be pedaled forever. After the chords (and when the scale reaches that region), repedal after every few notes. This is so the notes aren't too overwhelming (though it does actually add to the effect of an avalanche). 7) Speaking of the G melodic scale, I would rallentando (slower than ritardando, btw) on the last five notes of that scale. Adds so much drama when you do this. 8) There should be a crescendo with the double octave and double tenth scales. This sounds incredibly mean, but practice you melodic scales taking account of the phrasing and timing.98) It's understandable if the time of this recording wasn't suited for this, but oil rubato all over (pause) the low somber chords. This creates (at least to me) a sense of despair.
TLDR: practice
comments like these I find very helpful, and I will make sure to keep these in mind when practicing again, thanks!

idk how, but you have the speed and dynamics, but not the accuracy lol 🤣 you genuinely have potential with this piece if you put more practice into hitting the right notes. like seriously, i mean it dawg. maybe hold down the D octave at 0:38 for longer and then do the scales part. and at the beginning of the coda right when you hit that double G octave, maybe use a tiny bit of sustain for the phrasing. but if you can play wrong notes like that, u can definitely play the right notes like that, so im hoping i see another vid of yours in a month or so that’s drastically better at this 🙏 keep it up bro
I purposely played it fast for the video lol when I'm practicing I usually practice each hand separately much slower. Thanks for the tips though! I will be posting more progress vids in the coming weeks and months.
i heard lots of wrong notes, the start up was rushed aswell, and so was the coda.
hey be quiet, key word in the title is "attempting"
and you probably struggle to play chopsticks- got anything actually constructive to comment on a video like this?
hey, thanks for helping me get put on the algorithm!
how did this pop up on my timeline ? that was insane btw , good job !
Great job man- just be sure to slow down a bit. While the tempo is presto con fuoco, which surely enough you played, clarity is incredbly important- especially so that the accents are noticeable :)
Thanks for the advice! I'll always make sure to practice each hand separately as well as playing it slower. I was just going to go really fast for the video 😅
@@GPK1075 of course- I get what you mean. What helps me learn to play (other than just sticking to the traditional score and hand separation, slowing down etc.), is listening to other pianists perform the same piece I am practicing. Try out the same- from Pollini (R.I.P), to Pogorelich to Zimerman and many others :) Then, as you listen to them play, you try to imagine yourself being the one in their place on a stage or studio. Imagine what your hands are doing to produce the sound they are producing. After a while of listening I usually end up finding my own interpretations to what I want to play, while not losing the musicality of the piece :) Hope this helps :D
You did amazing. Slightly fast on some parts for my preference but that’s a personal choice. Played way better than I can!
Thanks! I still have a lot of messy parts but hopefully they get better through practice.
what the...
I watched you guys at James Logan yesterday! We loved your show! (West Park High)
very smol indeed. Makes me think of the tiny wing coaster at Legoland germany that manages to have two inversions with a ~40 ft lift
The line went painfully slow for Eejanaika when I went and the park was deserted at the time as well!
