I’ve been exploring the archetypes of the underworld this past Gemini season, perhaps because I am an early Gemini rising, and Pluto has been tightly trine to my Ascendent for a couple months now. I’m speaking of Greek Archetypes, Dionysus, Hades, Persephone & Ceres. The Sun, Venus and Jupiter crossing into the sign of Gemini in May, illuminated the Underworld for many of us. Did it not? Yes Orion is the opposition to Ophiuchus - that information was recently made apparent to me this year with Robert Edward Grant’s work. Thinking about Ophiuchus in a traditional astrological lens can really limit us. Orion made so much sense to when I heard it. It was right in front of me the whole time. There are several practices of astrology, sidereal, tropical and Mayan to name a few. They are all slightly different in their fundamental structures- but are all esoterically useful in the unique attributes that set them apart. The rule of thumb in astrology is to go with what resonates with you. I have a Scorpio sun in Sidereal astrology. I identify as a Sagittarius. Although, if I went to a Vedic astrologer - I would listen to them interpret me as a Scorpio sun. Their perspective is valuable in the whole of knowing myself. The study of the self is many layers. The tropical zodiac chart is a tool among many in the journey of knowing thyself. Take what resonates and leave the rest. You never know what you’ll be perceiving in the future, a Virgo sun in sidereal may make more since to you in the future. Meditation on these subjects are useful. I suggest not getting too hung up on making logical sense of it all. Allow your imagination to have some say on these topics. Wishing you the best!

Ive been doing more research on the Mayan Calendar lately. The Mayans are said to be linked with Ancient Atlantis - therefore Egypt and Babylon. You think Ophiuchus has an relevance in the Mayan Calendar? Their calendar counts in 20 day glyphs - there are 13 cycles of those 20 day periods, creating the 260 day calendar. This Mayan Calendar of 260 - works with the number 13 as its backbone. I feel like it holds some information waiting to be uncovered - behind Ophiuchus.

I’ve been curious if the #4 has any significant resonance Ophiuchus. Obviously it does through all the 13 repeats… I’m not entirely sure how it’s energy imprints it though.

@@galacticmythology13 is so powerful. 7=number of god/etheric realm. 6 = number of man/material matrix. add 7 and 6= 13. 13=4 4 is equivocal to the seasons and many other things, which is the famous even armed cross. this ancient symbol with a + inside a O is the square in the circle. matter manifested in spirit. 13 is comprised of 1 and 3. 1 is the all. 3 is the trinity.. just like vedic, christian, and many other religions speak of. then we get into the whole merkabah and metetrons cube which has to do with 13. oh and for some reason the bottom is extended?✝️ square + circle= christ in the flesh. krystos, heaven on earth.
