Ceremonial Snips played the Bridge Pub in Welland, Ontario for an iconic Halloween performance in 2007. I was lucky enough to capture some footage on a Mini DV camcorder from the pit before someone vomited right in front of the stage triggering me to have to leave the venue to get sick. Rose City Hardcore at it's finest!

I became friends with Ulf at Aux Records at a Sleeper Set Sail/A Walk With Anastasia show in Burlington. He had a band from Syracuse, New York on his label called Merit and sent them to Canada for the first time in 2006. I was suppose to meet the band and chat about working with them here up in Canada. I left the TV on one night, fell asleep, and woke up to Mike Bullard introducing this performance. I was probably 17. It blew my mind.
Serendipitously, what a time. I saw them at The Elk's Clüb in this era, I don't 'ab'use the term 'epic', use it abnormally, but it was an epic event to see that night in 23 July, year of our lord 2003!

I was living in Canada when this came out (I'm American), and this album blew me away. 20 years later, I still play it from time to time. The intro to this song and .44 caliber Love Letter still give me chills. Perfect opening and closing songs.
