the change in screen size - from closed to unrolled - is not significant. a real (meaningful) change in screen size makes being able to "fold" or "roll" make sense for daily usability. the main component section of the device will need to be much thinner & overall smaller. the rollable screen has to nearly double the viewable space when "unrolled". this basic concept in significantly changing the device proportions is why the existing foldable devices are more acceptable. otherwise it's just a gimmick.
