What is the problem if the bar is too close to the dashboard?

Unfortunately yes. They tell you upfront that they have a $5000 markup, but then there’s another $2500 of dealer addons. Which when you ask what that comprises they couldn’t really tell you. Some dealers though charges a $5000 markup and another $5000 of dealer addons for a total of a $10K markup.

The Rizoma handlebar has a really nice build and finish, it greatly improved the aesthetics of the bike. It’s much shorter and lower than stock so it brought the riding position a little forward, but not uncomfortable, that it improved the handling especially on long sweeping curves.

@@biesweekendrides1113 purchased a 16 classic with similar bars. the forward position for me is a bit exhausting as the front/rear suspension doesn't seem balanced. definitely agree with the handling, but want to try with stock too.

@@cpkay33 you’re right, it can be a little tiring after a couple of hours riding. Revzilla got some nice options that are wider and taller, but you may have to replace your bar clamps. Good luck!
