The omnibuses are really cool but theyre harder to find and lower quality, thats why i always stick to the singles. The omnibuses still look great though!

Berserk is my favourite… anything!!! 🥊🔥💯 it’s that good! It took me about 30 years to find it too! 🤯 and I probably never would have had it not been for a video I saw on RUclips learning of the heavy berserk inspirations in Elden Ring and the other fromsoft games. Thank guts I did! 👌😃 because it’s awesome!!!! Kentaro Muira was a genius! Absolute legend!!! I’m currently on volume 7 of the deluxe editions. But, being new to the whole manga/anime world, I watched the anime first like a complete wet wipe! 🤦‍♂️🤣

I love that they are branching out with Gundam. I have always been a fan of the relatively bitesize spin-off series like 00, and I loved the fresh take in Witch From Mercury, so this looks to be a cracker with the pedigree here. Love the art style, the character designers, love the goofy flair to it even just the name feels like FLCL. Absolutely fucking thrilled for this one. 😂

The main mobile suit (GQuuuuuux) isn't named gundam in any of the promotion that has been realeased which is really interesting.

Actually it is UC but it is an what if char stole the rx78-2 gundam and zeon won the war (according to the leak that is)

The last time I saw Macross / Robotech was around 1985 to 1986. I did not watch anime for nearly 8 years as it was not avail in my area and not even most anime. That was until Macross movie was avail for rent at the newly opened Blockbuster video in 1993. After watching the movie it was a nostalgia and it is the single anime that brought me back to watching anime and becoming otaku. This was long before Dragonball Z or Gundam made it here in a few years. Now having said that…you should watch Gunbuster all 6 episodes in a single night. Not gunna say anything just watch it without knowing anything about it. But for those that have seen Gunbuster then you already know why.

Old school anime has it's own unique flair. From the animation to the story, and Macross itself is fairly underrated as a series.

Appreciation for the old school process is great. Hand drawn anime. Love seeing it. Even in Cinema when they did stunts with practical effects. People forget. Macross is awesome. Even the opening scene of the SDF-1 is gorgeous.

If you want to watch a classic anime that has a very good story and is still considered one of the best plots even though it was made in the 80s, you have to watch Kimagure Orange Road.
