Thank you so much! I spent 10 minutes trying to look for an answer but I completely forgot I could just look on RUclips!
Garageband has been so problematic I’ve lost motivation to even play or create. Can’t find any answers to the technical problems it gives me so it’s time to quit or hire a super genius. Thinkin’ gotta hire a genius.
What problems are you having
@@producersociety1 When selecting a guitar sound some are coming through both channels while others only in one channel. Tried the little button with the circles on it which fixed it once but then it did nothing. Deleting the program then reloading it didn’t help either. It simply went totally wonky after working great for a year. Restarting computer did nothing, I just cannot figure it out.
@@Grunk2024 So what you're trying to say is that you can't get your tracks to switch between Mono and Stereo?
@@producersociety1 Not entirely. When I open a recording track and attempt to select a guitar sound option some are in mono while others are in stereo. I tried the L-R knobs and what not but to no avail. For example when I choose the British amp it’s in both speakers but then choosing something else it’s only in one speaker. All the clean guitar sounds only come through one speaker as well. Could do a video to show you. Thanks for replying
@@Grunk2024 Sounds like some Guitar Presets you're using have effects that are in mono and others are in stereo. For example, turning up Ambience or Reverb on a Mono Track will make it sound Stereo.

Maybe stop using garage band? lol If you care about your recording process, getting a better daw is a no brainer lol even if you go with reaper
Under the MIX tab at the top GarageBand menu, there is a check box that is “Move Track Automation with Regions” , check the box and the automation moves with the track

Hi, I have been recording my vocals with monitoring fine for a while with no effects on them, but when I use pitch correction, there is a bit of latency. Is there any fixes for this specifically?
