In the Army, the shots they gave us during processing, didn’t make us sick, but it made are arms feel paralyzed for a few days.. I kinda think they did that to make everybody feel equally weak

I keep getting med disqualified, I can’t even make it past the recruiters station. I am able bodied and ready to go but nope won’t let me join because I had my testicles removed at birth and I take testosterone oh well whatever!
If I am coming from a different A-school and am already phase 3 do I have to phase up all over again?

A lot ppl can't handle the pressure or the stress level. Especially in submarine station a lot of drug and alcohol 🍻. No good

What asvab score should I go for to be MA? Not saying that I want to limit my self, but that’s a job I was interested in, & im sure there’s better options, but what’s the minimum requirement or qualifications for MA?
@@AdaptableAmerican so they go based if line scores not the Asvab score. You don’t have to score excessively high to be a MA. I would just try to score the highest you can maybe around 50/60 area you should be okay.

Do you have to be an E4 or above?
To be an MA? No
I recieved information from someone who is considered to be a subject matter expert that prior to 9/11 you had to be E5 and above. He said that after 9/11 there was an increased need for security so they did away with the rank requirement. I think there was an issue with E1s to E3s apprehending petty officers and officers. I would think to apprehend an officer or petty officer you would have to receive orders from an officer. Interesting, thanks for your input on the subject.

What is it like to be an MA what do you do as an MA
There’s so many things you can do as an MA. NCIS, shore patrol, Hpu, expedition, I just do base security right now.
Everything can get you a medical waiver. Just gotta be smart w it. Good stuff.

I entered the navy when 17 years old and retired from the navy at 37 years. I got to travel to a lot different countries, work with a lot of great people , experience and see things most people never see or do. How many 17 years olds can have been to at least 25 countries , been out to sea on ships experience typhoons. I went in the navy because I did not want living in the place I grew up for the rest of my life like several of my freinds did. My time in the navy was great have a lot of good memories also a lot of good benefits for the rest of my life.

@@thatahkabdul you make statements but no reason. Millions of people have served in the navy and other branches of the military. Because of them allows you the freedom of not having to. All I am saying is my time time was a great experience for me. I have a lot of great memories from the navy. Nobody is telling you should go in the navy just do not insult the that are currently serving or have served in the past.

Currently 18 and not working I worked a couple jobs but after HS didn’t rlly know what to do im tryna help my fam out and join asap but I passed my Asvab last week but I also got a surgery of my appendix removed need to just pass the meps I’m nervous asf I hope navy lets me join what are ur thoughts bro?

Have multiple misdemeanor been on probation have hand tattoos and get sworn in next month…it’s all about how bad you want it..took 6months but I did it… FYI..any asthma or mental adhd issues you will get disquified they back back to elementary school for medical

Me and my boy will be going this March what was the physical activities like? We go to the gym a ton but we are still pretty lacking on some things, and the pushups/ curl ups kind of worry us a bit how did it go for you.
We did a lot of running. Like a lot 😂 focus on running, push up’s and planks. We don’t do pull ups at all. You’ll be fine

Na no tension here. We chilling. And na it’s not always the first place you go. Its just the biggest Command with MA’S. Yes I chose to go here

I passed my ASVAB with a qualifying score and now I'm just waiting to get medically cleared. All I got to do now is just take my medical and enlist and I'm good to go.. I barely did anything the last 4 years. I was just working random places not knowing what to do so I'm glad the Navy is a legitimate option
