Never a disappointment with TOOL 🔥 The Tool army was in full effect tonight. Great show at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham England. We were only allowed to record the last song Stinkfist but it was well worth the wait. Grateful to be able to see them again in such short intervals. My late father took me around Friars Bush Graveyard as a small child (his medical professional was dealing with the deceased). I remember the mound, the famine/Cholera graves and this place fascinated me due to it's history as I got older. Mark this is a excellent presented documentary and well researched. Is there any book written about this Graveyard and those resting in it? If possible could you make a documentary about Three Acre Graveyard (Kelly's Graveyard) in Sandy Row...as it's been forgotten and my late father said it was used by the workhouse to bury some of the dead residents (inmates) from there. Thank you for making this documentary to make our modern society aware of our past even though this place is filled with such sad stories of struggle, property, disease and demise ✝️

Never seen them gates open in 40 years great video.
During the 1980s and 90s my grandmother used to take me to the Ulster Museum a lot which is next door to the graveyard and from the old cafe windows you could see down into the graveyard. Have always wanted to have a look around it.
Was about to comment on this myself memories of looking into the graveyard as a kid from the old cafe window do you remember the cola?

As a Presbyterian ,I think its not a bit of wonder there is a division in our community , Roman Catholic and Presbyterians were both thought of as second class citizens, the marriages of the two community's was not recognised untii 1840's

A fascinating documentary. I remember I used to visit here when it appeared to be freely open about 30 years ago. I look forward to going back for a guided tour, but this makes up for it in the meantime

An excellent documentary. I used to live in Stranmillis Gardens, and went past here a million times. I got to know the late Gerry, who lived in the gatehouse, and met Eamon several times. Loved the history of this place. Did I miss however something about the Friar's Stone?
@@jamesbartlett5302 Thank you, so glad you enjoyed it 😊 And thanks for your question. The decision not to include mention of the Friar's stone was based on several reasons. The main one was that we had to choose from a range of elements to create a cohesive and engaging flow. This meant having to make some tough decisions about what to include and what to leave out. However, we recognise the importance of the stone and appreciate its significance to many. Through the documentary, we want to encourage viewers to engage with the graveyard directly. So when they take a tour, they'll have the opportunity to see the stone and learn about its significance firsthand from Mark. Thanks again 🙏
