    Thanks for showing this to us how to cut off the the broken piece of branch. Now, my little young tree has a couple damaged branches that got cut off, how the tree regrows back more new branches? Otherwise, my tree will have half side is no branches anymore due to strong wind breaking them.

    Thanks for the great video! I'm a novice gardener and found this really helpful! I bought one of these todays (I think - no tag lol). Mine have already bloomed and currently are in a pot. I'm on a balcony... My thinking was to plant this in a slightly bigger pot. Would you advise that? If so should I still aim for 1.5 times as wide? Should I find a slightly deeper planter? Any help you could provide would be great. Hoping these will come back year after year.

    Hello, kelly! Thanks for this video! Have you ever planted a hydrangea on a slope? Will it grow upwards, upright, after compensating for the slope? Or is it going to droop over down the incline and tip over if I don't assist it and growing upwards? It's not a huge incline. Maybe 35°

    Ugh! I JUST trimmed my blue/pink hydrangea to about 10". 😢 So many branches were split and I got carried away. Saw that green fresh at the base and thought it was the new.

    I have old hydrangeas that won't bloom. I live in Ohio and didn't prune this year or last year. I only have new growth nothing on the old sticks have shoots. What would your suggestion be if nothing blooms this year. Should I cut them completely down next spring?

  • @ronherkey148
    @ronherkey148 Год назад

    Not the BEST advise. I've repaired many broken branches like this. I know it wont ever be as strong as prior to the break, but it is better than throwing the towel in. I make a STURDY support that will be nearly as strong... it doesn't cut in, and still produces fruit...

    What do you recommend for the top of a new 6ft granny smith where there is a split in the top branch at what I would say is 1/4. I am able to join it back together but curious if that will eventually close off and fully re-heal?
