this is so satisfying
I got a hand tat my third tattoo And I’m on day 6 .. It looks so faded it like the guy commented above me it looks faded I loved it the first 3 days After man idk I hope it heals It has a strong message for me to remind my self I really do hope it turns out well like the others on here are saying
How does it looks now ? Still faded, or has the colour come back?
Average yearly dad meal
Those are some fucked up lines
Damn 13 days? U must have sensitive skin
i have getting my hands tattoed like 4 times and still i can't get the right healing method even tho my last tattoo artist is the best i have came across so far but still this last hand piece is fading colors :(
Does anybody has like a step by step written tutorial on how to take care of a first tattoo?😅😅😅
On day 7 of mine in the same spot. It looked so sick the first couple of days but it looks so faded now and like I’ll need a touch up. Looks like yours did the same though and the color came back. This video really put my mind at ease, thank you.
Im dry healing my hand tattoo (big black cog) and working (in Healthcare). I got it Wednesday and its Saturday. Still a bit swollen and dry af so painful to move... its been my only painful tattoo experience 😂😂😂😂 but it took a half hour so i knew it would take a hot minute to heal.
I came here for advice on how to care for a hand tattoo, cz I have pretty thick crust since more than 1 week. I hope it will fall off naturally as suggested here. 🥺
just got mine done yesterday 👍I use cocoa butter from Palmers it's amazing for helping the healing, only thing is how swollen my hand went 😂
They make cream to put on them to moisturize them and make it heal a lil faster some tattoo artist recommended using tattoo creams to keep it moisturized
Did you feel like the sharpness in the peice faded when all the skin flaked off like paint chips? I'm on my 4th day of healing and it's starting to peel and it saddens me 😔 it looked so fresh now it needs touch ups 😆 atleast those are free 🤷🏽♂️ I was worried then when I seen your hand cracking yet turning out ok.... I feel better. Thank you for sharing this experience with us. ❤️
How bad did it hurt?
You never used lotion throughout the healing process?? You let it dry heal and it came out that good?
You could've started using aquaphor day 3
The healing process was awesome. Good for you, Brad. When I get another one, I'll follow what you did.
Thank you. 13 days till my first hand tattoo. Took 8 days off from work for this one. I work in the ER, so this is gonna be interesting when I get back.
how was it when you went back ? did the gloves irritate or do you not wear gloves.
Why?
@drewwithguns I think he meant interesting as its not a common sight for the medical field to have hand tattoos. Especially ones that cover the whole hand.
did you ever use antibacterial soap to wash it?
nahhh
How do avoid rubbing against objects? I assume since we use our hands everyday it’ll be a problem because our hands touch everything all the time? I’m going to get my first hand tattoo next week and want to avoid this!

hey how did ur hand tat go? i got mine about 2-3 weeks ago and its really faded around my knuckles n my finger tat is basically gone like the wind dissapeared lol but its ok it was just a heart shaped arrow on my finger anyways
I just got a my hand tattoo 12-18-21 n I'm surprised that your hand didn't swell up hardly at all my hand is so swollen badly
Ur a champ for not using any tattoo product, just dry healing. I'm on day 3 of my hand blasted and it's starting to get itchy. I did a lil neck tat at the same time and it's not even close to itchy so weird how diff body parts heal
He's a champ for using a method that takes 3 times longer to heal, doesn't support potential recovery and greatly increases the risk of parts fading away or falling out? :) Not quite... Saniderm + good aftercare products will heal your tattoo (superficially) in 1-2 weeks, without scabbing or excessive flaking.
Thinking of getting one in the same spot this will be my first tat and was wondering what's the pain like in that area. I ain't getting a detailed picture it's just mainly alot of lines and circles no shading
Hi, please rate the video ☺ ruclips.net/channel/UCt4rcPIlVIszWaGlcOtujPg
My artist told me not to get it wet for very long at all . Wet it when you wash it otherwise keep it out of water or it will fade and slow the healing process
Should've moisturised instead of using the dry heal method, healing is so much faster
I prefer it that way and it worked pretty well on me. But for sure i'll try that method on some of my future tattoos. Thank you so much.
Boss ok. Lng ba sa isang araw ang laging mg hugas sa tattoo
Thank you.....
Just got a tattoo like a week and a half ago and trying this method out and it’s peeling but is looking faded is it normal it’s not fully healed though yet
With my tattoos, there are a lot of moment during the healing process where I felt that my tattoos are lighter that is because it changes from time to time. Also it always depend what type of tattoos you got as well as the style of the artist of how he/she did it. Anyway, I am sure its fully healed by now as I replied this experience of mine to you. May I ask, hows your tattoo right now?
your not suppose to put water like that
The healing process of your tattoo is so slow after 10 days it should be completely healed...
I think it'll vary from the type of skin you have. For my situation, i'm already used and happy with my timeframe.
Looks great. What style is this?
American Traditional
@@DIABLOTCH well it looks great. Really digging this style
@@mojojojo2109 Go for it, i'm excited for your tattoo journey and have fun 😁
@@DIABLOTCH one day. I have to find an artist who does great work on dark skin
Your day 6 looks exactly like my day 6(today) 😭 I am so worried the scabs peeling off on it’s own and my new tat literally looking faded at some of the spots the scabs came off on it’s own 💀
No worries, its totally fine when scabs came off naturally. Allow it to fully healed as it changes from time to time during the healing process. Sorry if I replied kinda late, and I am pretty sure that its completely healed by now. May I ask if your tattoo fade or did it recover to your satisfaction of boldness?
So you didn’t use any lotion at all?!
I didn't used any product at all during the healing process for a month before I start putting lotion on that area of my skin.
I just did my Mandala hand tattoo 5 days ago and still on the healing process. Other people say its like a gross black dry skin and doesnt look like a tattoo. I hope healing process will take soon so I wont receive any discrimination.
So I just Got a hand tattoo what do I need to do to preserve it
Happy to hear that you got one. I'm not an expert but with all my tattoos, I practice the natural healing where I do not use any products during the healing process and only moisturize it with running water when it feel itchy/dry. I also do my best not to use my hand for 2 weeks. So far my tattoos are preserve as I wanted.
@@DIABLOTCH interesting I need to keep moisturizing Cuase I have dry skin so my tattoos give me reason to do so lol 😂
I get mine in November and I know my skin can go quite dry in the winter so I’ll be sat at the sink all day!😄No but seriously thank you for the tips mate, really helpful! :)
So happy to hear that you find it helpful, thank you as well for watching.
can we talk about how fucking painful it is when it starts going to the side of the palm :D
So true hahahahahah I bet you also have tattoo on the same area.
It was the worst part lmaoo
For me the worst part was the top of the wrist
@@Saintr7 top of the wrist? I recently got a tattoo coming from wrist top of the wrist to my forearm i didn’t think anything of it, the top part of my forearm near the crease fucking hurt tho 😂
cmon it wasnt that bad
Hey bro my tattoos color is black and it got scratch off a bit by my son by accident can that mess the tattoo up it black but now it to light than yours
Can you workout with ruing the process ?
If you mean exercise/workout well, normally artist will always recommend working out on the 3rd or 4th week from the day you got your tattoos.
@@DIABLOTCH thxs
I got a rose tattoo in my hand it it itch like crazy now I’m add a sleeve on top of that rose tattoo
That turned out good, I have a 14 day old tattoo in the same place but some small parts in the side are already faded I'm planning to have a touch up once it's fully healed and I will try your method 😁
Thank you and yeah sure let me know if it will also work with you.
hows the tat? i also recently got a hand tat 2 weeks ago but it rlly faded out alot around my knuckles thinking it needs to get redone
@@Sebastian-ee6sv mine is still looking good, some little parts in the side faded due to me peeling it a little early when I first got it. My suggestion is don't leave it too long in water and just dab with tissue or towel.
Saniderm
how long did you run ur tattoo under the water for? and how many times a day
I run it for about a minute just to keep it moisturized and I'm doing this when it feel itchy only. However when taking a bath the tattoo got wet for more than 10 minutes.
I’m getting a hand tattoo, so to keep it moisturised you just run water over it a couple times a day? And don’t touch it or itch it or pick flakes off it?
Yes thats what i did, but i'm not sure if it works for everyone. One thing is for sure, it worked pretty well on me. Just make it wet with running water when the tattoo is dry and it feel itchy. 😊😊😊
@@DIABLOTCH warm water? And that’s it? Other ppl said use soap then water then lotion or something
@@halol229 it just depends i'm gonna use water and stuff for first few days see how it is then i'd use some sort of moisturiser for another week or so and it all should be good hopefully just to use water or something.
@@halol229 noo Never use warm or hot water on new tattoo
I’m a scaffolder and I’m always using my hands I’m planning on getting all my fingers done and my hand also What would you recommend using to keep the dirt off it while it’s healing
Use bager balm its organic and acts as a protective layer over your tattoo
Im getting a hand tatoo on Thursday but im worried im like how am I going to go in shower etc as the water and soap might fuck it up xxx
I know this old. But its been 3 years and if your still thinking of getting the hand tattoo 😂 do it. I work as a water treatment operator. Im working with my hands all day too, i just did my hand tattoo after work before the weekend, than take 1-2 days off just to get that extra healing time. By than your tattoo hasnt fully healed but at least your past the open wound/infection phase. Than from there just work and be careful as possible. Use non scented lotion to keep it moist, and just wash your hands when they get dirty. Keep it simple and dont over think it
Aye I was wondering Im getting a hand tattoo but still gotta work and use my hands, you think I’ll still be able to work or would it hurt or make the healing process longer?
Hi there,I'm glad that you're planning to get one too. For me, it'll depend on your job. If you will be using your hand a lot I do not recommend getting it yet. But if you can file a day off leave from your work for about 2 weeks that'll do.
Rub sand on it every day before work, soon as you get out of the shower, if you can hack it add a bit of salt.
I want a hand tattoo but right now with covid and me cleaning and sanitizing my hands a lot I don’t know man this tat does look sick tho
hey man I'm planning on making an octopus that ends in the fingers and your tattoo looks pretty sick, it was a very helpful video <3!!!!
Appreciate it, thank you so much - I'm excited with your octopus tattoo and for sure it'll turn out amazing. I love your idea with your design as well, its gonna be a perfect art on your hand. 👌🏽
great tattoo bro, do u cover it up while sleeping?
