In my opinion , Angus arrived at Aberdeen when he was needed to keep them up and clear of the relegation zone . I read an article about him stating "if your expecting a cultured centre half who can spray forty yard passes around " he may not be your man. If you are looking for someone to " clear your lines and win balls in the box " he would do that . I really admired his honesty and he (and others ) certainly did their job. Having listened to what he went through and what he is now doing to help others , I have more respect than ever for him . His family must be very proud of him , on and off the field !
