Really don't like this development of artists deciding other people are using AI and saying they're not. AI is getting better and better, and telling what is AI and what is not is getting very difficult and will only get harder. AI is trained in real artists' work, so as it improves it would be easy to think those real artists were using AI too... when they were the ones whose real art was use to train AI models. Making a video like this seemingly on a whim, "for entertainment" just seems like bad form--the effects on accusing someone of using AI art can be *brutal*, whether they use AI or not. People have been falsely accused before and it's not pretty. And it's not entertaining. Please people... stop being entertained by tearing other people down based on hunches and guesswork that may turn out to be false. Whether it's later proven to be a false accusation or not, a video accusing them will be seen by a lot more people than an apology "sorry, they don't really use AI art" video. But the person making the video "for entertainment" won't pay much cost for that difference and that mistake--compared to the one accused.

i'm sorry but isn't this just a huge waste of time ? i feel like i stumbled into a weird rabbithole of obsession over something irrelevant. i think that lying about whether you drew something yourself or created an image with ai, is obviously messed up. but sorry for my suspicion but i am halfway into te video now and this does not at all sound like you even asked that person once what they're doing ? just started acting like there is some secret scheming and hidden truth to be exposed. i may be wrong but this to me just looks like a random person living their life both drawing and messing with ai generation. the obsession here is odd. you can be an artist and have fun with ai too like those are not mutually exclusive things. unless you are very popular and being an artist is your entire personality and life. but this just looks like a regular person who probably has other stuff going on tbh.

This is misinformation. A few of the things pointed out in the main video have already been disproven by Kikowah on her instagram. There needs to be an apology.

seeing it on the 3d site i use too. nothing but trash people everywhere. making account and in less than a day have 10k 3d models on their page and have "NoAi" no block button on the site either. guess they figured out they dont want their slop to be referenced in their databases

You're definitely right that she's using AI!! But here's a tip for making your arguments stronger in the future: focus only on the elements that are *definitely* AI. What I mean is this. One of the strongest tells for an AI image isn't necessarily the hands or anatomical accuracy (though limbs blending into each other or awkward 6th fingers is obvious enough). The number one tell is ***details that are non-sensical that are ALSO rendered/polished***. You do a great job of this @16:25 . The whole image there is very polished. Everything has been "carefully rendered". Yet the details of the sweater are still complete nonsense. It's all very awkward heart-like shapes that get wonky and bleed into other parts of the sweater. No one who takes the time to render an image to this level will leave that kind of obvious structural issue while they're in-the-weeds, zoomed in, and polishing those small sections of their piece. Similar to @20:34 . The whole piece is very polished, but the headstock on the guitar and the number and shape of the tuners is complete nonsense. High level of polish on details that are nonsense is the number one tell. Not just nonsense details by themselves. However, you sort of weaken your argument @23:19 . This is not a very polished piece. The sketch is being left in as the drawing to paint under. I've definitely drawn worse hands in a sketch, before. The hair band being nonsense is a decent point, but the point about the hands isn't nearly as strong because it's very much within the realm of human error. Overall, you're right that she's using AI in some way. Either tracing, color sampling, direct referencing, or some combination of the 3. 100% no doubt. Just be careful in the future to only use the strongest arguments. I say that because the artist your talking about has "rebutted" your arguments by posting full timelapses of the *least AI looking* work that you criticized. Whereas if you only criticized stuff like the girl @16:25 and similar cases, she would have had a much harder time coming back with a seemingly legitimate response. But because you used examples that may or may not have been AI, she was able to latch onto those and use them to "disprove" your claims (even though your basic premise that she's using AI is still correct). Thanks for calling this behavior out.

Maybe she does the sketch and sometimes the linework and uses that as the prompt.

While i definitely think there is some AI involved, some of the stuff you pointed out as being AI made i can see an actual artist do. No one is perfect while drawing but also, when you show for example the braid having details and then less details, its a style of drawing that exists, only putting details where you want the viewer's gaze to go. I think her illustrations are maybe 40% AI and 60% her

It's crazy how until you spoke about the weird details I couldn't always notice it was AI, mostly because looking at it for a few seconds like you showed us makes us focus only on the main/general parts, skipping all the weird details. Exactly like how people would see a post quickly and not notice details (wether AI or classic drawing, people don't tend to look at details first)

When you Google ANYTHING in Google images is stressful since I need reference for my art and AI just gives me garbage and every time I manage to block one AI generator site, another one pops up! I don't care if it exists just stop existing in my reference searches!!

I don't like the argument of "this is drawn bad / should be drawn different so it's ai" But I don't disagree that this has at least ai help. Which isn't bad imo if it would be communicated

You know what really sucks... Being an actual artist and having to check your art with one of those "is it AI?" sites cuz you are terrified that someone is going to think it's AI and it gets wrongly flagged as AI. Freaking sucks.

Honestly I see thousands of these AI art accounts that act as genuine artists and they get almost all the engagement from Instagram because even the captions and hashtags are catered to be picked up by the algorythm. That's why they use these weird captions and post a million posts and stories a day just to grow a following. As an artist I completely gave up on making a following on Instagram. It's no longer a platform catered to organic growth after it was bought by Facebook. They ruined the algorythm and it's just a slop-fest at this point. Basically you have to be a slave to the algorythm to make a following which I guess is why this "artist" just "sold their soul" in order to become famous on Instagram. Sad really.

This gives obsessive and jealousy, a 30 minute video is intense this is serious defamation as well

She is absolutely an illustrator, I have gotten art from her and worked through so many issues I had with the drawing I requested and she was able to fix. This was not AI art, she has amazing talent, making a video like this is awfulz do your research prior to doing something like this.

8:50 Either she has a terrible understanding of anatomy, or the frame of the character is AI. How could a character have a positive look about their face while their arm is completely dislocated? Look at the arm and where the breast is located. That's not how bodies work. It's like the arm was placed much further ahead of where it ordinarily would be. THAT'S NOT HOW ARMS AND CHESTS WORK.
